Shelby park is a Lousiville neighborhood rich of cool public art and this is one fo my favorite ones. I enjoy the simple yet creative bubbles and colors and the message is very true and positive. Overall a great addition for the Lousiville public art mural scene and makes for good photos ops. You can sometimes catch glimpses of this piece from the expressway so that's always cool.

Me and my friend and fellow yelper Jeremy J spent a Saturday afternoon checking out places and public art in the Shelby park and Nulu neighborhoods when we stumbled upon this piece. We was unable to find an artist and until we got right up on it we could not tell what it said. I do enjoy the green Colors and design of this piece of public art. Overall pretty cool and easy to find mural. Just pop a right outside the doors of Logan street market and stay on the same side of the road and you can't miss it.

The massive building is home to a few other murals as well but this piece with an important message is by far the best one. Very positive message to try and find a cure to end the ms disease that affect several people and loved ones in our world. The artist approach on this was very nicely done and it is a very eye catching mural. Im a Sucker for picky art murals that deliver positive or staring messages and there isn't a much stronger one then "end ms forever". Great piece. Definitely one of my favorites if not my favorite in a Butchertown neighborhood that is exceedingly becoming public mural Rich.

I'm not sure exactly what is going on this painting or what the meaning behind hippie River is but I still enjoy it. Very fun to look at and a nice photo op and addition to the rapidly growing Lousiville public art scene. A few buildings down you will find another really cool piece of public art mural on the side of the Six forks burger joint. The whole neighborhood is chock full of public art. So if you are a fan of things like this then I'd recommend checking out this neighborhood

But it is normally coming from the other direction and I don't look back at it, or I have already turned off the road before getting to this piece. It looks like something that belongs on the side of (or even inside) a yoga studio, not the side of a blind/shade company. Sort of Dali-esque in the style and subject matter. Artsy fartsy pretty mural on Preston. Worth a drive past, if nothing else. But do yourself a favor and take the time to visit the other murals in the area too!

I had a hard time finding it based on the Apple Maps location, but I found it close to the intersection of Bingham and Witherspoon. It's a beautiful mural. As a fan of the Kentucky Derby, I really appreciated the art work. There's also another mural of Abraham Lincoln right next to it worth checking out.

This is a colorful rendering and one of the many Alley gallery pieces that pay homage tot he cities horse racing roots. While it is nicely done I do enjoy the non horse racing murals that are a part of alley gallery better. Just kind of overdone and I enjoy the uniqueness of different types of murals. Overall it is always fun to walk around downtown and discover these hidden and fun murals.

The immediate area was filled with interesting characters who were acting erratically and speaking to themselves. So we didn't spend much time in this area.
