Cheeky Monkeys - Fort Worth - 6/2/23 - Fun At Cheeky Monkeys

Cheeky Monkey is a great spot for kids of all ages and is perfectly located for an easy outing…read more When you arrive, you choose either a 1- or 2-hour play session and get a wristband that's announced over the speaker when your time is up. They're actually pretty generous with the timing--honestly, before the hour is up I'm usually ready for my color to be called! Right now I'm mostly in the toddler area, which has plenty to keep little ones busy and entertained. That said, the facility could definitely use some updates. A number of the wall activities were out of order, and the toys and play areas could benefit from a deeper, more frequent cleaning. They do have a small kitchen offering pizza, fries, burgers, and more. The food is decent--nothing amazing--but it gets the job done. Just be prepared for a bit of a wait. Overall, the staff is friendly, the concept is great, and it's an excellent place to let your kids burn off some serious energy. With a little upkeep, this place could easily be top-tier. Definitely recommend.

With the Texas heat, it's almost intolerable to be outdoors running around a covered playground…read more Cheeky Monkeys is a great alternative in that it is indoors. Think big slides, trampoline, soft play climbing obstacles, and ball pits. They have a designated area for toddlers 4 years and younger. It's a good idea for parents to still supervise since older kids tend to sneak into the area. For those who need a break from running around, there's a spot with books, puzzles/games, building blocks, grocery shopping, train set, etc. No outside food or beverages allowed. They have a cafe to purchase food with plenty of seats available to rest and/or eat. I like that they have multiple family friendly restrooms that are kept relatively clean. Make sure you bring grippy socks for the kiddos. Adults also need socks to run around the play area. I would say Cheeky Monkeys is pretty pricey compared to other indoor play places. They charge on an hourly basis unlike other locations that include unlimited play for the day without time restriction. Look out for their holiday specials, which typically includes a discount for 2 hours of play along with special activities (e.g. arts/craft and games). You can also book birthday parties here. On party days, it can get pretty loud and busy.

8/31/24 The owner took it upon herself to stop the event for a good 10 minutes to lecture everyone…read moreabout a baggy that was found after dinner and before the quinceaneras surprise dance started. Meaning there was a period of time after she did this that was just silence and waiting for the evening to continue. She should have brought it to someone privately first rather than showing the entire venue of over 200 people(children included) and ruining the mood of the entire party. More importantly, with the venue having cameras the question could have answered itself, if the owner was so concerned about who's baggy of drugs it was, she could have easily found out the answer without making a scene about it. Not to mention the fact that there was no way for her to know if the baggy was from someone in the party anyway, it could have easily been an employee's baggy. So as soon as the dances ended people started leaving right after. Party was over super early due to this, people were leaving before the cake was even cut. I couldn't imagine someone spending so much time and money on the entire night and event to have it ruined in a matter of minutes for something that could have at the very least been handled privately first. Owner also kept making comments about how the Indian food "stunk" which is extremely disrespectful. Music was also entirely too loud, you could not have a conversation with the people two seats away from you due to the volume. I left the venue with my ears feeling hot and swollen due to how loud the music was blaring, party went from 6 to 1 AM and I had to leave at 11 pm because my ears could not take it anymore.

First arrived and couldn't find parking. Then as the party got going it seemed Petra who I thought…read morewas one of the clean up crew but apparently an owner walked around the hall videoing everything and everyone with her phone. Then at one point came out to scold the party goers about a baggie found somewhere at the venue stating they have cameras "don't play with us". Very unprofessional. She could have spoken with the people paying for their services. Instead spoke to the crowd like she was speaking to her child in trouble. If you have cameras you should know where it came from. Instead you come out and embarrass the family and party goers. It didn't stop there. Petra continued to harass party goers without facts just assumptions. Poor mom of Miss Quince was so stressed out I don't know how she kept calm. And complaining about the smell of the food from a culture you probably know nothing about? How bout focus on the dry cake that was part of the package. Then after she ruined the mood, she wanted Miss Quince to pose for her own personal pictures on her phone. Very rude, very unprofessional. I would not recommend this place. The family made the best of a stressful situation. To not ruin the night completely.

I was the second customer in line and when it came time to my turn, I was completely ignored for a few minutes without so much as a "I'll be right with you, sir." When he decided to attend me, we started walking towards my truck to unload the equipment. At that same time a new customer arrived wanting to return a rental vehicle. This employee then proceeded to tell me that I now needed to wait because he had to attend them first because they were in a rush and needed to go and I said my turn came first and I also was in a rush and needed to go. He unloaded only 4 chairs in a very rude manner and walked away without any explanation to go attend the other customer. I had to unload the rest of the chairs and tables and placed them up against the wall for him. Then a guy from the back came out and counted the chairs and tables and made sure everything was ok with the equipment and then I left. As a paying customer, it is extremely frustrating to be completely ignored and then to have my turn in line be disregarded and then to have to unload most of the equipment on my own. Extremely poor customer service, take your business elsewhere to a place that doesn't have dysfunctional, sketchy employees and actually functions like a proper business.

Very rude customer service. Better off going to U-Haul for easily renting a "commercial" vehicle.read more

It doesn't make sense to dehydrate children that have been actively jumping and playing especially on 100 degree days. Last time we visited we were told they were adding a pizza oven and concession, but that's still not the case. They do have arcade games that put a $5 charge on your card no matter if you only played one round (supposed to be only $1), Hurricane Simulator, and a non-working Marvel Photo Booth. Once the charge actually cleared, I was charged $6.10! Per game. I definitely got scammed and am disputing the charges. Regardless, staff were all friendly and I'm so glad Altitude is open at 11am during the week (unlike UrbanAir). The online scheduler allowed passes to be bought starting at 10am though, so that needs to be fixed. Also there are STILL parts of the trampoline park that are closed off! I have to assume still broken but I don't know for a fact why.

I decided to try Urban Air, this place is amazing. So happy to have found this place. Tbh if I'd have known bout this before.....
