I was kinda tired and cold and we were only planning on getting a taster before heading out, but everyone there was super friendly and the beer was so good that we ended up getting a round of beers (I really loved the old ale, and the red rye was my husband's favorite!) and sitting around to chat. It's a small space (like many of the little breweries in Rocky Mount) but there is plenty of outdoor seating if needed. I definitely suggest stopping in for a taster though!

Decided on a mule, which was just what I needed for a hot day - refreshing! I also tried some of the frozen strawberry drink (no alcohol), which was very icy. Definitely needed something else so it wouldn't be all ice. The bartender was kind enough to make a lemonade, which one of my sons wanted - he enjoyed it! If you can't decide on a beer, you can ask for a sample! Plenty of seating inside or just outside the store (both indoors and outdoors).

Our server Kaydi quickly came over to offer drinks, an energetic tone, a positive smile, and the refreshing Southern "yes ma'am/sir." Pricing averaged about $25 per person, a very reasonable price for the value delivered. Overall, we will certainly be back the next time we're driving along the east coast. Most of the beer was very good, especially their season saison which showed they understood the delicate nature of the style. I tried everything they had on tap and liked the creativity though there were some issues with the Czech Dark which I detailed in an uptappd review. Still, this is about the visit, which was wonderful. What a gorgeous location and cool concept. I can't wait to see more action from these guys in the future.

The Host was nice and welcoming. The new waitress was slow as a "Sloth" but had a great attitude. The restaurant was very clean, pleasant and relaxing. Please remove the "Danish BBQ ribs"from the menu. The Ribs were nasty, small and drastically overpriced. Definitely was not expecting Ribs like this from the great State of North Carolina. We walked into this establishment and was immediately met with attitude from the bartender working that night. We were a group of 10, so maybe she was frustrated, but there is zero excuse to have an attitude towards people who came to spend $. Before I get into this review, I would like to point out that we were sober walking into this establishment. No sketchy or rude behavior. Just a group of professionals that went to HS together and wanted to catchup over drinks! She immediately told us that she wasn't going to answer any question about what was on draft and that we should just look at the signage, I witnessed her throw a menu at someone, I witnessed her interrupt our service to serve to newer customers, I overheard her tell a couple, she'd be with them as soon as she was done with "these" people (oh yes, she had the tone you're imagining), and finally, she made a loud announcement when someone in the group's card declined (0 discretion). I was at the end of the line waiting to be served and after hearing seeing all of the above, I was highly upset and told my classmates that I would be outside waiting for them because I was NOT giving my $ to that establishment. Many others followed suite. The ones that got drinks, cashed out and thankfully you're allowed to take your drinks outside. I will NEVER go back in there. Maybe that there preference.
