We picked FNB, several years ago, for the location (right on the square) and architecture (it's a beautiful bank inside and out). If the appearance doesn't make you feel like you are stepping back in time, the customer service will. On this day (Monday 4/4/16) I was helped by Maria C. All I can say is fantastic experience and missions accomplished. Thank you! Bottom line: It really is, "Your hometown bank." PS. Everything was good until I opened a merchant account to accept credit card payments for my business. Chase Bank said they needed more information, go to your local branch office, which I did. Before I left, I asked if that was everything they needed. YES, that is all. Two weeks later, my account is locked. For the next two days my banker worked to find out what they wanted to get my account back. For every question we answered, they later came back with another question. If I had known exactly what they wanted when I first came in, we would not have had this problem. Communication is a problem at Chase Bank.

Time to update that review from 2016. I banked at Prosperity…read morein Liberty Hill (TX). That staff was phenomenal, they were very service-oriented and caring. I had an incident (sometime between 2016-19) where I was scammed through my Prosperity checking account in Liberty Hill and the Prosperity folks there were helpful.. but I still owed the amount of money I was scammed. So I visited the Prosperity Bank here in Granbury. I explained the incident to the Account manager here and told her I was ready to pay that amount of $$ up, and possibly open a new account. She said she'd double-check the amount I owed off the scam, and "get back to me within a day or 2." She took down my phone number and had my e-mail account. Well, today is 8/11 and it's been OVER 2 weeks since she said she'd get back to me. What a shame. Maybe I'll visit the branch here sometime and get the account evened up... but I'm REALLY disappointed with the lack of follow up, especially since I had such good service and karma with the Liberty Hill office years ago.
