There's a closet I'm assuming he used to store the paint that has paint splatters on the tile. His work needs to be inspected prior to giving him the full amount. Use at your own risk. He said that he had a crew that was going to be painting with him but ended up doing the whole project himself. I don't think he has employees.

No because like the average contractor around town, you can only use them for one or two jobs before he gauges what he thinks you can spend and doubles it! I do feel like he takes pride in his work but I'm tired of trying to develop good relationships with contractors just for them take advantage in the end. Professionalism always falls short as well. I had about 1000 sq ft of ceiling painted and part of it was repaired. Texture was matched and looked perfect. I can barely tell there was a hole in my ceiling. Only reason why I didn't rate a 5/5 was because of dealing with Phil. He called out the shoddy paint job that was on there before. He claimed that he had attention to detail and that's what mattered; to not worry about it and that they would do better. So come around the time the job was done, they forgot to put a stain blocker on a stain they were painting over and his excuse was that no one is perfect and that they did their best. Definitely not someone that should be working there and making such statements, especially when customers are seeking perfection if not close to it when it comes to painting and repairs. If it wasn't for Brant, I definitely would of gone crazy. He worked with me and was understanding to the whole situation. He even took time off his own weekend to check up on the job. Over all, you should definitely move forward and give them a try. Even if the job goes south, you can trust that Brant will make sure you end up happy.

The thought of picking up a paint brush to get my kitchen done just made me ill. I hate climbing up and down ladders and when I looked at the cabinets and having to lean over them to paint just wasn't in the cards for me. I recently hired Juli from Paint Color Help to pick out my color and so I decided to hire painters to get the job done so I didn't procrastinate for a month or take forever painting my kitchen by myself in small sections. I found an ad on Craigslist and setup a free estimate the next evening...I met with Maynard who gave me a fair price and he had painters available for the next day. I gave him a deposit and a key to my house. The painters went and got the paint for me (YAY#1), painted my kitchen - even behind the refridgerator! (YAY#2), left the key under the mat (YAY#3) - nothing in my house was missing or damaged (YAY#4) and I paid him the balance over the phone with my credit card. They made everything super easy for me - the work was top notch and I would use them again. The one and ONLY reason I didn't rate them 5* was because they tracked in alot of dirt and the floors were a mess after they left - it would have been nice for them to have swept it up. But the paint job was amazing!

It was a very sloppy and unprofessional job! I spent over two (2) hours cleaning up after they left (in which they didn't even bother to tell me that they were finished and leaving). I will not be recommending their work to anyone due to the very poor workmanship and lack of quality. I have all sorts of things with paint on them now to include concrete, grass, landscaping, rock, fountain, pots, grill cover, etc. There is cardboard sitting on top of my roof. There are areas that were not painted. There are areas that were not caulked.

Communication has become nearly nonexistent, and what was delivered has been a disaster. And now, multiple licensed contractors are quoting over $60,000 just to finish what's left. The contract clearly stated that brick would be used on the exterior -- Nisan later tried to deny this despite it being in writing as an "honest mistake". I've now had multiple systems professionally inspected, and the findings are alarming: * Plumbing and HVAC are not up to code * It appears the work was done by an unlicensed handyman * Multiple violations that must now be redone, delaying occupancy and adding thousands in extra costs * never validated the licenses under the permit and kept lying to me for months that everything is on track. I had to go to the city to find out. Because of this company's dishonest, greedy and negligent practices, I've been forced to take legal action. I've lost money, time, and trust -- and I strongly warn others: do not hire ONR Renovations. Contractors like this make homeowners suffer while they hide behind excuses. This experience has been financially and emotionally exhausting.
