This was almost like an old ladies cafeteria type barbecue. The food was not tasty at ALL. The food was lukewarm at best. Obviously it's premade sitting there waiting for somebody to order it. Our waitress was nice at first. Then she just never came back never asked for a refill, never asked do you need anything, I didn't even know she left the bill, my husband stated that she left it when she brought the napkins. The chicken was horrible. That green bean casserole looked like throw up and tasted WORSE. We are from Texas and no barbecue. I will never go back there. The only positive for that whole repulsive experience it was one of the waiter gentleman was so friendly with everybody. One of the other waitresses said it gets on my nerves he's annoying. Well he was entertaining and exactly what customer service needs. Especially when you have food mediocre at best. Needless to say my husband woke up this morning with diarrhea. I am always looking for good BBQ. When I saw the prices for this place I had high hopes since nobody would actually charge that much for sub par BBQ. Boy was I wrong. The food was served on paper plates and bowls. The salad dressing was in a single serve package. The ribs were dry and the brisket....well let's just say who knows what kind of meat it really was but it was not brisket! I wish I could say the service made up for it but the wait staff appeared to be folks who used to work at Denny's but couldn't make it there. Overall, you would be better off going to a soup kitchen than eating this food. They say it was BBQ but I would be surprised if any of this food has even seen a BBQ! read more

The meat was ok and the sides where horrible. Mushy low quality corn. For the price of the meal you think they would spend a little more money getting better food. I do not reccomend this place, eat elsewhere. I gave them two stars because our server was good. read more

Gorgeous view of the river, room temperature was relaxing-not too cold, service was awesome, we had less than a 3 min wait to be seated, service was prompt, our drinks were kept full, serving sizes are huge, I had the baked potato with bbq beef. It came with beans, corn bread and a salad for $11.95-well worth the price. Condiments included butter, sour cream, green onions and cheddar cheese. Yummmm!! We heard that there was a new BBQ restaurant at The Riverside Casino, in place of the buffet. We were game to try it. The staff was friendly and very accommodating. The place was clean and all utensils and menus were disposable. Thats the good part. The best part of the meal was the baked potato. The baby back ribs I ordered had probably never seen a bar b que. They were tough and quite tasteless. My husband ordered pulled pork and sliced brisket. The pork was so so and the brisket looked like ground beef without flavor. This spot is a must! Portions are out of control. I order the brisket baked potato every time and it never disappoints. It's actually 2 meals because I have it for diner and lunch the next day. By far the worst BBQ I've ever had. The view of the dried up river wasn't terrible out the dirty windows. The sliced brisket was, well not so great. Next time I'm going through Laughlin, I think I'll pass on this place and just stop by 7 Eleven and pickup a room temperature can of Spaghettios to eat with my fingers. The food quality will be better, by far! Let's just say, if you're considering giving it a try, save yourself the trouble and just chew on some crushed glass, it'll be better for you and far more tasty. read more

Used to be a buffet but since the Chinese bio-weapon it has turned into a regular eatery. Great food. This was the 3rd time I've gone there and I've been very happy each time. Our waitress was Sheryl and she was great. When I was a teenager I could have eaten my order but at 3 times a teen I took as much out as leftovers as I ate. I have never seen or experienced a meal that looked like food that should have throw out the night before! I cannot describe how disappointed I was about 95% of the fatty dry meat portion. The sampler for two came with half a chicken, sausage links, wings, brisket, half a rack of ribs. All meat and poultry was cooked perfectly, and tasted great. Corn bread muffins were tasty. The view is great. The server, was rude and had an attitude. Salad was old and cucumber even had a bite taken out of it. This literally looks like reused lettuce. We got the sampler platter for two. And honestly I think my dog get better food than what I was given. The ribs looked like road kill. Brisket was dry. Pulled pork was salty and even smelled like canned dog food. Corn bread was dry. We went for the short ribs special this week and was very disappointed. There was no barbeque sauce used, the ribs were baked and a seasoning applied that made the meat taste like disinfectant - yummy! The salad had been dumped out of a bag and a couple of cherry tomatoes added. The dressing was in a package. The green bean casserole was slimy and not at all appetizing. To order a beer we had to pay cash-up-front, apparently the restaurant doesn't have a license to sell alcohol and the waitress had to go out to the bar in front of the restaurant. I really wanted to like this place as we need good BBQ options along casino drive in the casino properties. If you are in the mood for lots of mediocre food (barely BBQ), this is the place. Portions are far too big. We heard the server say that to each table. You would think they would just right size the portions and have less food wasted. We saw many half eaten plates on the way out. I had "smoked sliced brisket". If you have visions of Aaron Franklin quality, you will be sadly disappointed as I was. What I received was an overcooked brisket cooked in an oven with very little flavor, no smoke, no crust, no juice. My wife had the pulled pork potato. The pulled pork was reasonably tender but had a weird flavor like they poured Lawry's seasoned salt all over it. Again, the taste was not smoked BBQ but more of badly executed back yard grill. Their BBQ sauce is sweet baby rays which is a fine sauce but, even it, couldn't help this poor meal. Avoid this place. read more
