They immediately INCREASED our mortgage by $300 per month without notice. When I called to ask why the rep explained that they projected an increase in property taxes; so they needed to fund the escrow to cover it. This increased payment has gone on over a year now and we have a sizable SURPLUS or our money sitting in the escrow - unavailable to us, as the property taxes DID NOT increase as they had projected. That's nice, however they are not giving us our money back or even applying it to principle. I've called 2x now and the very nice and polite phone rep tells me that they will be rebalancing everything and cutting checks soon. Still - I don't like it that they have essentially had an extra $4K of my money this year and I need this to pay INCOME TAXES NOW!
