My husband and I drove down on Monday to find them closed. I called them to make sure they were closed and got a voice mail that said they were open Mondays thru SATURDAY! It is a 30 minute drive for us. I will not be trying them again. I found the same style, but in my daughters' birthstones, on Diamondful's Etsy page. After reading through reviews, I wanted to make my purchase here. My husband had his reservations about ordering something so expensive online, so we ended up going to a local jeweler. The local jeweler said they would be able to make the same ring for a similar price, so we considered it. However, when I went home to inspect our quote, I noticed that the aquamarine would be an imitation stone. After some light research, I learned that imitation stones can be made of plastic. At that point, I honestly felt deceived, because the jeweler didn't take the time to educate my husband and I on what we would be potentially buying. If we are going to purchase a piece of jewelry that is supposed to commemorate 7+ years of marriage and our 2 kids, it shouldn't have plastic in it. They…read moredon't do that on site and called another business referring to me as a "gentleman" twice in the conversation. I am a lifetime resident of Chula Vista and a proud transwoman. It certainly is not a requirement that people gender me correctly, but I will not do business where they do not. It's simply unkind in my opinion. Would not recommend this establishment for LGBTQ plus. I went instead to M and M across the street. Would highly recommend them.
