We Are the Farm. Bayside Sod is a 5th-generation family sod farm in Bradenton — we grow, cut, deliver, and install our own grass sod, so there's no middleman and no guessing how long your sod sat on a truck. It's cut fresh from our farm the day it ships to your home or job site. That farm-direct model means better quality, better freshness, and better value than resellers can offer. And it's backed by a guarantee few competitors can match: if you're not satisfied with your sod on arrival, we replace it or refund your money — and installation customers don't pay a dime until they're completely satisfied with the finished lawn. That's how much we stand behind our work. Named to the Inc. 5000 list of America's fastest-growing private companies and recognized for Best Customer Service, we live by our core values: 'Quality for Your Mama' — if we wouldn't put it in our own mother's yard, we won't put it in yours — and 'We Care in This House,' because helping people know they matter is why we do this. We serve homeowners, small landscapers, and large landscape companies across Bradenton, Sarasota, Lakewood Ranch, St. Petersburg, and Brandon with a full range of Florida-proven varieties: St. Augustine (Floratam, ProVista, Bitter Blue), Empire Zoysia, BIMINI® Bermuda, and Bahia. Whether you need residential sod installation, commercial sod, or pallets of grass for your next project, request a free quote and talk directly to the farm that grows it.
History
Established in 1987.
Bayside Sod's story begins in 1987, when Jack Bispham founded the farm in Bradenton, Florida — but the family's farming roots run five generations deep. Today, Jack's daughter Tiffany Bailey leads the company as CEO and co-owner, having grown up in the business and taken ownership with a lifelong understanding of what it takes to grow quality turf in Florida. Under her leadership, Bayside Sod has evolved from a local sod farm into a fully farm-direct operation that grows, harvests, delivers, and professionally installs fresh-cut sod across Bradenton, Sarasota, Lakewood Ranch, and the greater Tampa Bay area. Along the way, the company earned an A+ rating from the Better Business Bureau and a place on the Inc. 5000 list of America's fastest-growing private companies, recognized for Best Customer Service. Through every season of growth, one thing hasn't changed: it's still a family farm, still cutting sod fresh every day, and still standing behind every pallet.
