More over today took three dogs there for annual shots and it took 2.5 half hours to finish the visit. 30 minutes were actually in the vet the other 2 was waiting to get seen and waiting for the bill which after being billed was told they dont take care credit due to not having a specific mechine. no where in the building or online does it say they dont take care credit. I even made sure before hand with looking at the care credit locator to make sure they took it, to be surprised that they dont and wont even use the card numbers once it was time to pay. Inconclusion doctors have always been nice and great but they dont take care credit and wont mention that till you need to pay, have long wait and, have a rushed atmosphere. Granted the nurse did tell me shes tried to talk to corporate about it but no response but even so i think it should have been mentioned or at least brought up when looking to be seen.

Poor Business and Unprofessional Service at Animal Medical Corpus Christi…read more 1-Star Review - Animal Medical Corpus Christi Extremely Unprofessional and Disorganized Conductive of Business. I called on Wednesday to schedule a reproductive/insemination exam for my dog and clearly explained what I needed. I was given a Friday 8:00 AM appointment and even received an email confirmation the next day verifying it. I showed up on time, only to be met with zero professionalism. No greeting. No courtesy. Just a cold "What can I help you with?" After sitting in the lobby for 30 minutes, I was finally told they "don't do that here but instead I can "be referred to a Vet Clinic in San Antonio". Why not ? Is it because I'm the only Mexican in the Lobby with a Dog that looks like a Drug Dealer would Own? Or because I'm not your Average Joe with a Typical American Household Dog sitting in your lobby waiting for services. So why was I allowed to schedule it? Why confirm it? Why wait until I'm physically sitting in the lobby to say you don't provide that service? I took off work and lost a day's wages for this appointment. That's time and money I don't get back. And instead of owning their mistake, no apology was offered. Instead, I was told they could still do a quick exam -- but I'd have to pay the exam fee -- or I could "be Referred to San Antonio to find someone else" Charging someone after YOUR office scheduled the wrong service is unacceptable. That is poor management, poor communication, and a complete disregard for clients' time. Offering a different service while still charging the exam fee does not correct the original mistake. I did not schedule a general exam -- I scheduled a specific reproductive service that your office infact confirmed would be completed. If this is how they handle basic scheduling, I would strongly question how they handle more serious matters. Do better.

If I could give Dr. Cuica 1,000 out of 1,000 stars, I absolutely would. In my 29 years of being a…read morepet owner, I can honestly say he is the best veterinarian I have ever had the privilege of trusting with my animals. Dr. Cuica is incredibly knowledgeable, compassionate, and genuinely invested in the well-being of every pet he treats. He has cared for all four of my fur babies, as well as three of my childhood family pets, and every single visit has shown us just how deeply he cares. He doesn't treat animals like appointments on a schedule--he treats them like family. One of the things that sets him apart is the time he spends with his patients and their families. At many veterinary clinics, you may only see the veterinarian for a few minutes before the rest of your visit is handled by technicians. With Dr. Cuica, he is present throughout the entire appointment alongside his amazing staff. He personally performs thorough examinations, takes the time to explain everything in detail, answers every question without rushing, and teaches you how to prevent illness and provide the best possible care for your pet. You leave feeling informed, reassured, and confident. Over the years, he has been there for us during both joyful and heartbreaking moments. We recently had to say goodbye to two of our oldest family pets after they developed health conditions that unfortunately could not be treated. Dr. Cuica guided us through one of the most difficult experiences a pet owner can face with incredible compassion, patience, and kindness. His support during that transition meant more to our family than words can express. He has also gone above and beyond in emergencies. He once cleared his schedule to perform an emergency surgery on one of our pets, something I will never forget. Most recently, all four of our babies were affected by a nasty parasite, and he remained available every step of the way to ensure they received prompt treatment and recovered as quickly as possible. Knowing we had someone so dedicated in our corner gave us tremendous peace of mind. Beyond the exceptional medical care, his clinic is spotless and beautifully maintained. His office staff is always warm, welcoming, and compassionate, and his wife, Mrs. Cuica, is truly one of the sweetest, most caring people you could ever meet. They have created an environment where both pets and their owners feel genuinely cared for. They also offer payment plans through Cherry Financing, which can be an incredible help for families facing unexpected veterinary expenses. Dr. Cuica is also reasonably priced, especially considering the extraordinary level of care and attention he provides. He is a skilled local surgeon, and the quality of his work speaks for itself. Our family is forever grateful for Dr. Cuica and everyone at Lion of Judah Animal Services. Thank you for being a source of comfort, hope, and compassion during both the happiest moments and the hardest days. Thank you for always being there to care for our babies, no matter the time or circumstance. I recommend Dr. Cuica and Lion of Judah Animal Services to every friend and family member I know without hesitation. The level of compassion, dedication, expertise, and personal care you receive here is something you simply won't find anywhere else. They have earned our trust for life. Pictures of our babies added
