The front desk specialists were extremely nice and were quite forgiving when I arrive roughly 30 minutes late to one appointment. they could have easily turned me away but the doctor got back to me fairly quickly and was a quick consultation and a plan of action on how to live a more stress free life when it comes to allergies. I highly recommend this place. The additional plus is this place has plenty of parking and usually within a couple days for appointment booking.

Never coming back again…read more My first visit was fine, but I couldn't take the allergy test because I had taken allergy medicine within a week of my appointment. Not sure if they had told me that prior, probably could've been more clear about that. The second visit, I had to wait in the room for at least an hour before they actually started the test, the whole visit ended up taking over 2 hours. The woman administering the test kept forgetting numbers when she was pricking my arm with the allergens. So multiple times I had to tell her that she skipped a line so she could wipe my arm and redo it. I'm very doubtful about the accuracy of the test because of this. Then when I got my bill a few weeks later, it ended up being $1600, and my insurance covered less than half of it. I knew it would be expensive, but that is so much more than any other doctor's visit I've had. Had I known from the get-go how much it would be, I wouldn't have bothered. I went back and forth with the Allergist's office and the billing office trying to see if they would reduce the price somehow, but all they said they could do was set up a billing plan. They said they would call me back once they talked to upper management about it, but after two weeks of not hearing from them I had to pay the bill before I was sent to collections. It says something that I would MUCH rather deal with debilitating allergies in the Spring and Fall than go forward with this company.

The only good thing about this practice is Dr. Nguyen, who will probably leave the practice soon…read moreout of frustration. The office is a disaster. I had been getting allergy shots for 2 years and did not improve, only to be repeatedly told that I must have a cold. No! They left out a key component and the main reactive ingredient: my dog allergy serum! I met with the new doctor, and after going through my records, she had no explanation as to how this occurred. There were also some miscommunications between the previous doctor and Dr. Nguyen, so not only did I have to restart the shot cycle, I had to pay for two shots instead of one. Not to mention that I had been paying for ineffective shots the first two years. Billing is a nightmare. I tried to pay as I go, but the office manager would tell me that she did not know what to bill me or how to run the credit card machine. I now wait for the monthly summary and pay the bill in arrears, but what medical business doesn't want to accept payment at time of service? The office staff is lackadaisical and unprofessional. A greeting, such as "good morning", is rare if ever. They pay more attention to each other, the Internet, and their cell phones than to the patients in the office. I won't go into detail, but there have been 7 times where I have not been able to get a shot after arriving in this office. And upon learning about the missing ingredient from the serum mentioned above, all I got was a shoulder shrug and grimace. The hours are not convenient. This office is open only on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 9:15-11:30 and 1:15-4:15; some Wednesdays they stay open until 6 pm. Many days there is a handwritten note on the door that announces the office is closed for no apparent reason, and it is never announced more than a few days ahead of time. So if you are on maintenance shots, unless you call immediately before you plan to arrive (unless it's lunch time, when no one ever answers the phone), you will never really know if you'll be able to get a shot. Fortunately, I have found another allergist whose receptionist answered the phone during lunch hours, and I will now be getting shots there.
