Some of the makers are local to Michigan, but they also carry things from out of state. The style of the kitchen and home decor they carry typically trends towards the more colorful and whimsical (which is 100% my vibe) though they do carry some more neutral options for the more minimalist shoppers out there. Whenever I visit I usually pick up one or two items (like a cute dish towel or one of their small prep bowls) for the home and a couple of their packaged pantry goods like a fancy mustard or jam. Oh, and they also have a Moomer's Ice Cream counter which makes it even more of an essential stop for us when we're in the area.

After not hearing about an appointment for 1 1/2 weeks, I finally tracked her down and she curtly told me they wouldn't do my project and were booked for the year. Waste of time.

Sent me an estimate and in the fine print (why fine print when there is plenty of room to make the information the same font size so people can easily read it?) stated that the demo cost and removal is not included in the estimate. When I requested the cost of demo and removal the president refused to disclose the cost of demo and removal. When I explained that I need to have an idea of all costs, Mr. President ( he listed himself as the president of the company, I'm guessing to let me know there is no point to complain up) informed me he won't do business with me because "our price mindsets are different". I told him I've never been politely fired as a customer and I'm 56 years old. He replied he's been in business for 46. I am sure they probably do good work, but to treat me like he did for simply requesting all costs of a project prior to paying 50% of the costs reflect arrogance and my need to share this with others. Lots of people can install countertops. I went somewhere else and I am glad I did.

The sales manager stopped by at the end of the day to check on progress and overall how it was going. we had a minor concern with caulking and Terry came back the next day to complete to our satisfaction. He said the windows would arrive in approximately 17 - 24 days. The windows arrived in 24 business days & installed the following day(s). I say installed the following days because unfortunately our condo was built 50 yrs ago & the old windows were very hard to remove. So, what should have only taken 1 day took 3. Even with that we're SO please with the outcome. They look great! Dave, the installer, did an exceptional job! He was polite & professional. We're so impressed definitely recommend this company.
