Finally, we decided to enter the auditorium, and the greeters in the foyer were wonderful. They saw that we were visitors and gave us coupons for a free espresso drink in their coffee shop. The people working the coffee shop were warm and friendly. Worship music was good - praise band but not earplug- requiring. :). Preaching that day was a bit dry, but he was the church's business manager, filling in for the regular pastor (as I understood it). This church has a choir at Christmastime only.

Pastor Greg is a great speaker who is very passionate. I also like this church because it's not like other churches where people go just to dress up and socialize. Pastor Greg actually focuses on the Bible and it's contents, not story telling time some pastors tend to do.

They were planning the meal and indoor shelter for the homeless this week and promised details of the recent trip to Paradise where some of them were helping to rebuild houses. A bonus is that there are several small groups which can help newcomers connect with others. If you're on the fence, just go and visit. Don't miss out on this sweet congregation.

I called them recently asking for a ride to church and back, but they want to hold my past against me from almost 20 years ago even though God forgave me along time ago, and all temptation and sins are common to man. I feel discriminated against, they treat strangers better than me. What did I ever do to them. The Bible says that if you don't forgive and forget a person's past God won't forgive and forget your past.

Wow, at least the four people to review before mine, they all gave FIVE STARS OF FIVE STARS! I the Tiger also see that all four are local people of the town Auburn, California. It is really good when Local People give Five Stars. Today I went. Greeted by a person named Todd. I also met a Reverend Brian or Reverend Bryan, not sure how his name is spelled. There is also a Deacon Patricia. She understood when I call her Reverend Patricia. Reverend Patricia explained the beliefs of the church. She gave me the bulletin. This for a service at ten thirty am. There is a service at eight am and a service at ten thirty am. Hand sanitizer at the beginning of each pew. After there is an event at one pm. I thinking may need to walk to Auburn Central Square to get something to eat, there is about one hour and ten minutes before the event. Reverend Brian or Reverend Bryan says there is food and coffee in their community room. Muffins, chips with red salsa, cheeses, small slices of bagels, salami, big jar of water. I did indeed stay for one pm event. It is about climate change, led by two girls of Placer High School. After the event, I ask one of the girls. She says the school is tenth grade to twelfth grade. That seems right. Elementary is kindergarten to sixth grade. Junior high is seventh to ninth grade. High school is tenth grade to twelfth grade.

They remember you by name which is not something I am used to as I commonly attended "mega churches." I feel the Holy Spirit here and I love the way the Pastor leads the service -- its scripture soaked and he even adds in some history lessons which I love. I have learned a lot and have grown closer to God (most importantly). I have invited several people to church and they all say the same thing. We found our church home and we couldn't be happier!

Since I now work and live in the Bay Area, I call Calvary Chapel San Ramon my home church. However, if I lived in the area, I'd definitely be attending here. When I saw that Joshua Bove was Pastoring church, I started auditing his sermons because of my admiration of his father, Pastor Mark, who had a hand in leading me to salvation thru my Lord and Savior Jesus who paid the price for my sins on the cross. I have listened to sermon after sermon and I can without hesitation say: Pastor Josh is a spot on Biblical pastor, using expository preaching, going line by line thru scripture and equipping the saints for God's glory; just like his father and Pastor Chuck Smith both did before him. If I lived in the area, this would be my home church. Pastor Joshua Bove and His brother, Pastor James Bove of Calvary Chapel Anaheim are both blessings to their communities. During the Christmas time, there was one night this church has a drive thru Nativity scene. This church is just after DMV. So one Sunday between December and February, some reason that day no Church services at Auburn, California Corps of Salvation Army. Try walking to this of Upper Room church. The people here so friendly. Every wore masks. The rows were socially distanced. I been here several times. During Palm Sunday 2021, after, sandwiches and chips from Subway Sandwiches. One lady, she daughter of a Military person. He when met them, is age ninety four. She invited me to stay for the lunch. Being just visitor, I am hesitant. She says there will be plenty for everyone. This of Upper Room church. If one remembers the story of our Lord and our Savior Jesus. He shared the Last Supper with His disciples in an upper room. Today is September 13, 2021.
