They asked if they could switch out one flower for another and I agreed at time of order. My mom sent me a picture of what was delivered and it looked nothing like the photo online. It was a garish bouquet with carnations substituted - not in the picture online or agreed to. Very disappointing, most especially because I know what my Mom likes and while she thanked me for the flowers when I explained the situation, we're close enough that she admitted it wasn't her taste. When I called the store they admitted it wasn't what was online, but said they thought it was pretty. Subjective. And that's a problem.

Walking down my street one day I realize there is a florist on the corner. Never entering the…read moreplace until as of late was a big mistake on my part. I will admit upon entering I want quite sure what to think, lots of greenery and small retail section, I thought, "where are the flowers?". BAM! I turned the corner to see a floral cooler filled with a beautiful selection of fresh flowers. Not knowing the florist or the florist skills and being the designer type I peeked around to see if I could see some "predone" arrangements to give me comfort of the abilites of the florist. No one wants to spend money on something they would not be comfortable in giving away. I thought here goes. I looked to the florist and said "$60.00 and something fall like for a Thanksgiving centre piece". Thinking to myself ah hell, if it doesnt work out Ive wasted $60.00 im worse ways. Zoom! she took off to the lower level and comes up with a very sizeable black vase filled with water. Within 15 mins, and as she said it " Im not done til its perfect". The most beautiful arrangement for $60. appeared before me a true creation/designer centerpiece I could be proud of. As I watched her assemble it I could not believe the detail and calibre of greens and florals used in the arrangement. In most shops this was worth well over $100.00. Truly this is the best little floral shop around, and a true example of small enterprise at its BEST. You wont be disappointed.

TL;DR/The Short Version: Cute little florist and plant shop…read morein Westboro. They've been around for a while. The Long Version: I had to make specific plans to visit this store even though it's in my neighbourhood and I walk by it all the time because they are only open Tuesday to Saturday 10am-4pm. So they open after I'm at work and close before I finish and they're close to my home, but not my workplace, so I can only go on Saturdays. Hey, if they can make that work for them (and they do because they have been in business for well over a decade, maybe even more than two decades, as they've been there ever since I moved to the neighborhood), good on them. I would love to work limited hours too, lol. Anyway, I finally made it in to browse the shop. I wasn't looking for anything in particular, but poking around for anything interesting that would catch my eye. Admittedly, I have limited space for plants and am at the point in my collection where I'm only looking for small unusual looking plants (think mesembs). I did not find any but enjoyed looking around. They have pretty plants that looked to be in good shape. Nothing too exotic or unusual but a good selection nonetheless. Staff were busy tending to other customers so I did not interact with them, which is fine by me, as I prefer to browse on my own anyway. The store is very cozy and nicely laid out. Prices are higher than greenhouses/garden centres but that's to be expected, since it's a small boutique in Westboro, lol. Prices are comparable to other small plant stores in the city. Since I walk by all the time, I'll keep an eye on their window display and if they get any new and unusual plants, I'll make it a point to drop in again on a Saturday ;) Review #86 (2025)

The flowers had to fit in a small glass box, around the urn. I was served by Lynette, a true artist! She immediately called the funeral home to obtain the dimensions of the box and started sketching out desings with dimensions/ created a maquette of the box with a vase to replicate the urn. Lynette was able to provide us with ample visuals of what the arrangement would look like, and we were right to have full faith in her abilities because the final product was SPECTACULAR. My grandmother wanted a cascade of pink and white roses. Stoneblossom not only created two horseshoe arrangements to caress the urn, but a beautiful cascade of pink and white roses to top the box which is exactly what my grandmother would have wanted. We received multiple compliments from friends and family on how gorgeous the floral arrangements were. Thank you Lynette, and StoneBlossom floral gallery for your kindness, professionalism and artistry!
