When I first visited The Crescent the dentists were always coming and going as they were from Sweden and Finland etc so when I started seeing Mr Siakoufis I thought it would be short lived but fortunately it has not been and he is a very good dentist. He was very quiet in the beginning, probably due to a slight language barrier. However the longer he has been there the more he speaks, not too much though, I hate it if as soon as they stick an implement in your mouth they ask you a question so it makes a nice change to be with a quiet one and I do believe they also concentrate on their work more, the less they say. The practice is welcoming and clean and always has up to date magazines. It is NHS and private and they will recommend if they think you should go privately to get better looking teeth etc or if they think you could get just as good on the NHS. The staff are pleasant and friendly and efficient. One of the best things is they send you a text a couple of days before to tell you about your appointment so you wont incurr a charge or forget to attend. Prices reasonable,

Very good Dentist NHS and private…read more Very helpful on the telephone, always manage to make appointments for emergencies etc. Had a filling last week was given the option of whether I wanted an injection, decided to go without, but was given the option that the Dentist would stop at any time if I was in too much pain and I could still have the injection. The whole experience was a revelation and completely painless. The prices are realistic for NHS. The only thing I would say that they do like you to pay up front if you need treatment that you can't have at that time, they like you to pay upfront. They do say that you will not have to pay for any other appointment within the next couple of months. They have restored my faith in this Dentist. The staff are very helpful and kind. Very good service.

Had great service. My husband was also under RDE and trusted them and said he was impressed. He was waiting for a angiogram. But It turned out he needed a quadruple bypass and soon. They kept writing to us and asking us shall we take you off the list it's only for a stent at the worst and it's not really necessary. Luckily we stuck it out and said no we want the angiogram and stent if needed as my mother in law died of heart problems. After RDE realising it was much more serious after doing the angiogram, they referred us to Plymouth and who were amazing and said my husbands treatment was not acceptable, he could have died while waiting and was waiting 102 weeks for an angiogram Plymouth had him in within three weeks and at the stage of his bypass they were still waiting for paperwork and health history from RDE so we told them everything they needed to know and they had no idea my mother in law had died from heart problems and heart problems are in the family. The RDE hadn't told them. This is totally unacceptable, they are playing with peoples lives. Even after complaining we haven't heard anything from them whatsoever.

Very good Hospital in Exeter…read more Has been rated 'Excellent' for both clinical services and financial management. Car parks bit pricey, need to take plenty of change with you if you want to park on site. Operates a park and ride service (current cost about £1) with buses running every 12 minutes or so from a secure car park, from 7am to about 9.45pm Monday - Friday. Covers all medical areas (except for Psychological) Very good website with information on all wards. Gives information for patients going into the Hospital. Gives recruitment information including listing all available vacancies. Gives information on contact details. Smoke free site - no smoking permitted anywhere including the car park and grounds.

They have several buses for patients and visitors. Once inside, it is very difficult to navigate yourself around the hospital. The staff are very busy, so it is almost useless asking them for help. Most of the wards are hygenic dispite what you have heard on the news recently. I would recommend using this hospital if you live in this region, although don't expect the parking to be cheap.

The lady serving was quite stressed as they had run out of cups, and lots of people had been asking for coffees. She kept calling me love and dear although obviously her heart wasnt in it. The tables hadnt been cleared for some time, and it was difficult to find a table although their were stools and a bar to sat at. Still capacino and pack of custard creams for £1.50. It could do with a clock for people to check on the times for their appointments.
