Tannenburg is one of those places you have to drive to, but it is still a cool spot and the interior is well laid out. Great location, the owner is a pleasure to talk to, and now for the star of the show, the schnitzel. The size is that of a plate, pounded thin and cooked well for whichever sauce you can choose, or go wiener art. The sides are also on point and there is no chance you will leave here hungry. This one is worth the drive. Get there early as they draw a crowd.

I am pleased to say Idstein's rauchen bier was nothing like that and was EXCELLENT! I just wish they always had it on tap.
