This family owned convenience store is a true neighborhood staple and somehow has a little bit of everything. Snacks, drinks, groceries, candy, ice cream, wine, beer, cigars, lottery tickets, phone chargers, and more. They even have an ATM. My dog and I stop in every morning (she loves getting a complimentary milk bone biscuit). The place is always friendly and welcoming. I have a couple of aging Christmas trees in the back yard that on a couple of occasions I've started to chop up for firewood only to give up because that's really hard work and instead I come here to get cheap firewood. Inexplicably they sell firewood all year 'round. Friendly, homely, convenient, cluttered with the usual convenience store overpricing, there's a somewhat odd assortment of offerings. Very good selection of good beer, adequate selection of cheap beer, some canned and instant and frozen groceries, cheap sunglasses, toys, smoking stuff (for different substances), snacks, and sundries (maybe some of what I listed are sundries, not clear on that). There's a little parking lot, and a polite outdoor garden table and chairs with a sun parasol in front. It's a nicer place to sit and chat with a friend (maybe while waiting for Honeypie Cafe to open) than HiFi Ironically Bad Service Cafe or Sven's Mean Owner Cafe. read more

Was in the neighborhood for a get together at a friends house and needed some beer. Since it was close by I decided to stopped in and get some. Their 12 pack cans of Miller were pretty cheap and I bought a couple. Super friendly guy behind the counter. They have cigars their too , Not my thing but they have a pretty good selection if that's your cup of coffee. read more
