Walked in with my partner after a lovely day, and were first of all SHOCKED by the prices. But we…read morelooked around and saw that it was all very nicely decorated etc so figured it was worth the price. We should've come here and read reviews instead... Anyway, we got separated into different rooms, which we hate as getting a massage together is kind of a thing we like to do as a couple, and other places normally put us next to each other or close by. But we already paid (again, I've never paid BEFORE a massage) so we just went along with everything. My massage began about 5 minutes AFTER my partner as I went to the bathroom and rinsed off sand etc first. The girl who had me, was texting and using one hand the whole way through. She wasn't terrible (when she wasn't texting) but in no way was her skills worth the over priced number we paid. Once the massage finished (about 45 minutes in I found out after when I checked my phone) she refused to leave the room while I got dressed which has NEVER in the history of the hundreds of massages I've had, happen. Then I found out why, it was so she could demand a TIP. I politely told her no, because we had already paid and my partner carries all our money anyway (which was true, I couldn't have tipped her even if I wanted to) I felt really bad about it, as you do when asked for a tip, so I left saying I would grab my partners wallet and be back in a second. I left to the reception room, expecting to find him waiting for me as my massage started after mine, and he was still in. So I waited a few minutes and he came out. At this point I had checked my phone and realized my massage went for less that 45 minutes, so I was annoyed at the whole thing so I decided not to return to tip her - it just didn't feel deserved at all. My partner asked how mine was and I told him everything. He pretty much had the same dismal report, saying his was texting, using one hand. He then went on to tell me that the woman kept going oddly close to his junk obviously trying to get up in there and when they turned him over offered a 'happy ending massage'. He obviously declined and apparently after that, his massage was pure rubbish. No effort, and an uncomfortable demand for a tip when she was done. *For those who say this is just what massages are like in Asia, no it's not. If you come in a couple, the girls will never offer a 'happy ending'. We've done couple massages by the hundreds and this is the first time they have done that. YUCK. Don't be fooled - the place looks LOVELY. They are over priced but the decor seems to suit so you think it's going to be worth it. It's one of the worst places I've ever been - actually considering the price, it's THE WORST. And they offer men happy endings. Men in couples. Just.... icky gross!

Against my better judgement, I did not walk into Elements Massage wearing a blue shirt with a stiff…read morewhite collar and yell, GO PATS. Instead, I hobbled in (a skeleton of the middle of the bench high school athlete that I was) and ran up the white flag on my dignity. In a desperate attempt to heal the wounds of years running with a soon to be beer gut, I found myself in the calming waiting room of Elements Massage. While I have never been to a massage parlor that I would admit to, I was eased by the owner himself as to the benefits of getting a good old fashioned American rub down. Much like our favorite BBQ meats, it's best to rub it hard and take your time. After a quick tutorial as to what to strip down to, dealer's choice apparently, I awkwardly sat and waited for that sweet relief of a stranger's weirdly strong hands. A relief, ladies and gents, is what I got. After nights of leg issues that kept me up contemplating life without limbs, I was rubbed, beaten, carcessed and otherwise rejointed for an hour. I found light at the end of the tunnel of inflamed tendons and salvation at the altar of knotted muscles. Tim went up, down, left, and right over every sore and dehydrated muscle in my otherwise average body. Under the dim lights of room 3, I found a renewed sense of purpose in life. **Additionally, I learned how important stretching and daily water consumption is to overall health** For those looking to have the hot stones from Temple of Doom put on your back or just a relaxing hour of no cell phone and no worries, try Elements in Stoneham and stay away from the Robert Kraft jokes. -GIART

I recently had a massage at the Elements Stoneham Location. The massage itself was wonderful, and…read morethe girl massage therapist was extremely professional and talented. However, during the massage I could hear a male employee cursing angrily and freely in the hallway outside of my massage room. The use of profanity by a staff member shocked and concerned me. It jolted me out of the relaxed atmosphere my massage therapist had so expertly provided. I am writing this now because this was not the first time this has happened at this location. Public profanity around paying customers is unprofessional, and damages everyone else's hard work at providing a healing experience.
