The practice seems like a well oiled machine. The best part? Seeing the nurse practitioner! He was so informative and took so much time to ease my mind with all my questions. Parking may look tricky but it actually has enough space for when it's "busy" like for those back to school forms/visits. (Summer Break) As far as Covid protocol they have always been following guidelines. From calling, texting, online check in and car waiting. Every staff member wears their mask, have their hand sanitizer, seats and section are identified with social distance stickers. Office is divided by section to avoids minors to be around others who are "sick" from those who need an other type of service (vaccines, check up etc..) Every staff member is very respectful, polite and humble. They talk every process and procedure with the adult/parent/guardian and even take the time to address it with the child to make the appointment easy going. Communication is a plus! A few months ago they became part of a corporation and now have a call center that is so terrible, it has made me find a new pediatrician. You can't even call the front desk to talk to anyone, even if it's a quick question. Each call will take a minimum of 10 minutes as you need to go verify insurance, phone number, address, etc. each call. Oh and you have more than one kid? You still have to verify for each child in the same phone call. The straw that broke the camel's back was recently we tried to speak to the doctor about a small issue my newborn was having. It was after hours (around 530pm) and in the past, we left a message with the doctor and would get a call back. They now have a "medical advice" line that you are transferred to. I was on hold for the few few minutes when the lady answered to ask me hold again. I was then on hold for another 15-20 minutes. After that, we had to verify our insurance, phone number, address, etc. yet again (even through we just saw them a few days ago). After another 20 minutes, our medical advice was "you should see a doctor, we can schedule a tele-visit now for you." I thought this whole time, the lady was going to give me medical advice. Then, she tells me the tele-visit will be a "fee." I asked her if it would be a copay, she proceeds to tell me "no, it's a fee." When I ask what that fee is, she tells me she can't tell me, it's up to what the insurance pays. I read another person in the reviews got a $150 "fee." Another time I called because I forgot the dermatologist recommendation list the Doctor gave me. The call center wouldn't transfer me to the actual office and wouldn't provide the recommendation list for me either. I would have to physically go back in the office for it (the call center also wouldn't call them so it was ready for me). This place is literally a joke now; it's absolutely terrible. The doctors and staff are great but it's not worth the hassle. When I complained to the staff at the office, they all said "everyone is complaining about it, unfortunately there's nothing we can do" so clearly I am not the only one having this issue. Save yourself the headache and find a different pediatrician.

Dr. Black was extremely thorough, answered all my questions and she was so understanding these past few years. Always keeping us up to date on what they had been seeing etc in the office related to Covid and all the other virus's trending upward. At the same time my teenager started having extreme anxiety so Dr. Razman referred us to see Dr. Weber for further evaluation. Dr. Weber was so easily for her to talk to about her anxiety and trying to root cause why she has it. She knew just the right questions to ask and after the first appointment my daughter felt a lot more at ease. Like others have said in past reviews, you do have to call early in the morning to get a same day sick visit appointment but in my experience most doctors are like this. They are open on Saturday's which for us is a blessing since it's hard to get off work during the week especially when you are worried about your kids. If you are looking for a pediatric ls office I would highly recommend seeing Dr. Black, Dr. Razman or Dr. Weber.

I have met with Dr. DiDonna on several occasions (pre- and post-lab work), and unlike pretty much every other doctor I have seen in recent memory, Dr. DiDonna has been the only health care practitioner to actually ASK me how I'm feeling as opposed to just reading results from a computer screen. And a special shout-out to Brit at the front desk who was super helpful in getting my insurance situation sorted out and was extremely efficient in scheduling my appointment and follow-up. She is so nice and helpful, I can only imagine her job is super stressful! Can't say enough good things about Dr. DiDonna and the crew at Dunedin Pediatrics--since my first appointment, I'm actually OFF of three prescriptions and have been feeling the best I've felt in years (I'm a 41 year old guy). Our experience with the office staff was extremely poor. My husband (who has good and bad days…read morebecause he is taking oral chemotherapy for cancer that has metastasisized to his bones) misplaced a referral for me. And,because I was unable to wait (with my husband, who started feeling drained) for a CT Scan up in Clearwater until 6:45 or 7:30 pm, I had to cancel it. We had just started up with Dr Kush Patel's office as our PCP, and this was one of several procedures we'd had to schedule. I was told that my heart had shown a "q-wave" anomaly, and I was told to see a cardiologist. We were to go and have several tests done before we could ever meet with Dr Patel for even the first time! I logged onto their patient portal to request another referral for a CT SCAN and intended to get it right there at Baycare's Bardmoor location--the same place where Dr Patel's office is located because that location is CLOSEST TO US. I had a hard time texting back and forth with whomever handles Patient Portal messages/texts. After that attempt, we were told that Patel's office couldn't take our insurance after 2024. I called our insurance provider (Florida Blue value PPO) to inquire about this and the representative said that it was not true. She put me on hold in order to contact their office. I think she may have spoken to the person who had given me a hard time in the Patient Portal texts. A few days later we received a formal letter from Patel's office saying that Dr Patel (whom we had.not yet even met) would no longer be our PCP and would handle only emergencies for the next 30 days, until we found another PCP. This occurred in November 2024, during the time we were supposed to be choosing our Medicare plan for 2025-as well as whoever our PCP would be! Very poor treatment by that office!!
