Took a wrong turn and made it to this beach. Parking was a little hard. Once I got to the beach I was informed you need to pay at the office they don't take cash there. I return after purchasing my beach pass badge. I was informed there was no eating at the beach. Just water allowed. Be advise they have food patrol and people will rat you out. There are no garbage cans there either. I had a good time will definitely return in a near future.

One of my favorite beaches in the area. The surface temp was 67 this past weekend. October 9-13, 2014. I went swimming fairly often and being from Texas I could easily tolerate the "cold" water temperature. I tried surfing. Waves were too close to the beach for my low skill set. I came during winter season so I didn't have to buy tickets, get hangry, or bring a cooler. But I was only staying 50 yards from the beach entrance in a nine bedroom 5 bathroom beach house. Which had a quaint but incredible outdoor shower. But I digress, the beach was beautiful, and the scene for many family photos, engagement photos, and good times to be had. I went combing the tide pools with my fiancee and caught many different animals, including a spotted crab, two bluefish, and rescued a puffer. Thank you BHIA. What a fantastic beach.

2-Star Review for Point Pleasant Beach…read more Point Pleasant Beach used to be our go-to summer spot about 4-5 years ago, but sadly, it's gone downhill--big time. What was once a relaxing beach day has turned into an over-policed, overpriced headache. There are more cops patrolling than actual lifeguards, and getting onto the beach feels like you're going through airport security. Not exactly the vibe you want on a chill summer day. Also it's so annoying that they turn off the showers after 7 pm .. Ridiculous!! The water was murky and dirty--definitely didn't feel like going in. Food is ridiculously overpriced, and finding parking is a battle in itself. Honestly, the place has lost its charm. It ain't Point Pleasant anymore... more like Point Unpleasant. Gave it 2 stars only out of nostalgia--otherwise, it would've been a 1.

I would rate this beach 3.5 stars! It was a nice and peaceful beach but with a price tag. We had to…read morepay $3.50 an hour for parking and then we had to pay $15 pp to get on the beach which I felt is so steep. I live on Long Island and most beaches you just pay for per car for the admission. The water was peaceful and the beach was pretty quiet. The boardwalk was nice and had a lot of food options. They also had an amusement park which was nice. Our daughter enjoyed it. The bathrooms were clean and not a lot of garbage on the beach. I would return but expect to spend a lot of money for a beach day.

Fisherman's Cove is one of the few dog friendly beaches in New Jersey. Dogs are permitted to be off-leashed before 10AM and after 4PM. All the dogs had a great time playing with each other. The beach was clean and there are two portapotties on site, which were also very clean. There aren't too many restaurants nearby like in Point Pleasant or Asbury Park, so you might want to eat beforehand or bring food with you to the beach.

Overlooking that almost no one was wearing a mask (in any of the surrounding areas that we ventured to and from) the cove itself was absolutely stunning and peaceful during the sunset.  For a few moments you could zen out and not have to worry about all the rotten things happening throughout the world.
