Fairways are nothing but weeds and dirt. Fallen trees abound, a palm tree lies across one fairway and a uprooted tree lays at a 45 degree in the 18 fairway, however it is somehow still alive. Tee boxes are a complete joke and there is not ONE DECENT GREEN on the entire course. Greens are fuzzy dirt at best ! This place SUCKS !! While the course design was incredible the maintenance was very poor. All of the fairways were rock hard with very short grass. At first glance it looks nice but I'd almost prefer to play off the parking lot than these fairways. I was supremely disappointed in the playing conditions for what should be a great golf experience. Dogwood is the exception. They should rename this place Dogpatch. I thought I snagged a sweet deal on Golf Now but you could not pay me to play there again. Granted it was the first of February and I don't expect lush green fairways, but this place was ridiculous. The fairways were compacted sand and mud with a few green spots here and there. The edges of the fairways (we call it the first cut in the north) were bumpy bare and impossible to hit off. I will say that the club house staff and workers on the course were friendly and polite.
