I realize that some may find…read moreit strange to "review" your funeral home but for those who have coped with the loss of a dear loved one it really is not so strange. When my mom passed i had no idea who to call for the services of handling my moms final wishes but Jeannie is an old family friend so I instantly blurted her name out. When a loved one passes it is comparable to your family garage. You may never have had to use them but it is the one you are familiar with and from what you have heard they do good work. I am not comparing the death of a loved one to having a vehicle repaired, only the service offered. I can tell you that I've never experienced having to plan for the final preparations of a loved one. Its not something anyone is prepared for. Well anyone except Jean. I thought it was going to be hard and I would have to do alot of work and make alot of decisions. That is not the case. I feel even more so with Jean. She handled everything. Clearly and respectfully. And her voice is just so calm and soothing. She was always available for my calls and walked me through every step of this process. I recall one phone call when I was "freaking out" entirely and she said simply "dont worry yourself about that, this is what i do". Those words helped take so much weight off my shoulders. Knowing I have an ally that knows why they are doing because at a time like this only your funeral director has that knowledge. She has helped me immensely through this transition of life. If your loved one has not chosen their wishes for themselves please call Jeannie. She and her husband Rick know what they are doing and can help you through this phase. The hardest part.
