Due to both my sister and I living CA & NV and for financial reasons we had arranged for an immediate burial. It's almost like the review written by Gus was written by me. Wrong info on death certificate. Obituary not posted until after service. Cremation delayed-rescheduled service due to this. Cheap urn-has to buy one on Amazon that was nicer than theirs at half their price, communication sucked! And so on and so on. It was a hard stressful lesson I learned a little too late. Some may praise but for me it was all a nightmare that I'm glad is over!

At one time, the structure was a cool, old, Chagrin Falls house; now, it is a dilapidated shanty in need of complete renovation. If you time your visit right, you can see the staff wheeling a corpse out to the garage for embalming! No kidding! If you are a smoker, you could probably bum a smoke off the guys hanging out near that garage lighting up just before your family's service starts as well. And yes, it is true, a scene from the movie Bad Grandpa was shot here as well, befitting of its classlessness. A funeral is sad enough as it is. Our experience here only made it worse :-(

And my uncle Tito's about this time last year. Blocks away from the long lost Front Row Theater where I saw my first concert. With my dad. My uncle always arranged the anjual Santana concert outing at Blossom. They both dug Latin rhythms. The whole family being from Argentina. I became a man at this stretch of historic Mayfield road. I was still a kid(32) when my dad passed. And when my uncle passed last year I fully realized my place in the world. I tried to let go of childish pursuits(girls, infamy, fun) and instead wholly focused myself on family, household and legacy. Arby's is right next door if you need a Jamocha break during this heavy, depressing review. I don't come out to this part of town much anymore. Not really any businesses I fancy. Well, maybe Puff n Stuff and Master Pizza. Anyhow, I did a lot of growing up in my two visits here. I mended some fences, made some impossibly tall. So goes life. Saw people I hadn't seen in decades. Felt emotions I hadn't felt in many years. My dad, uncle and brother are all buried feet apart just up the road in Chesterland. This is a solemn part of town for me. And I think Flo lives at Progressive up on route 91, so yeah... I don't know where I'm going with this. So, as for this establishment- respectful, classy, loving. Recommended.
