He told me that as long as it's not causing me any pain that I could have the procedure done whenever I feel comfortable doing so. This is the kind of doctor that I would highly recommend to anyone, as he is not in the business to just be cutting on people because that's where the money is at.. He is the kind of doctor that truly cares about his patience more than fattening up his bank account!!! Again, I highly recommend Dr. John Ellis! Thanks Dr. John.. I had no previous experience with a chiropractor, I was certain it was going to be painful, but I was at the end of my rope and couldn't get any help from the emergency room or regular medical doctor. Muscle relaxers and pain meds couldn't touch the pain I was in. (Pills, injections and patches) Dr Mitch got me in right away, took x-rays, took a detailed history. After reading the Xrays, he started adjusting me. The adjustments DID NOT HURT and by time he was done with my first adjustment, I was mostly pain free, standing straight and walking fine. I couldn't believe what a difference it made; how much better I felt! By the end of the week I was a new person. If I didn't experience it myself, I wouldn't have believed it! I continue to see him for general maintenance; painful feet, ankles, knees, shoulders, pinched nerves; if I tell him something is bothering me... BOOM, he fixes it; not even exaggerating. Most of the time it's IMMEDIATE RELIEF!!! (Without drugs) I've been dealing with back issues since I was a teenager. (I'm 48 now) Medical doctors, surgeons, braces, medications... ugh, I wish I would've found Dr. Mitch sooner. Put your doubts and fears aside and just go see him.

Throughout the last part of my pregnancy, I was able to see 3 different doctors in the practice (Belardo, Kerr, and Christian) and was thrilled with all of them. I felt listened to and cared about and never felt like I was rushed in appointments, which is a big statement in a medical setting. Everyone was friendly, open, and caring. I was overly "referred" in my former practice- the doctor wouldn't advise me on any concerns I had, she merely referred me to other (VERY expensive) specialists who ended up telling me nothing besides that I was pregnant and what I was experiencing was fine. The doctors at Westshore present themselves as incredibly caring and knowledgeable, and they can handle whatever you are dealing with in your pregnancy. Dr. Belardo also stuck around for many hours past her on call time to deliver my baby, which was so appreciated as I had a very long and difficult labor, so having such a friendly, caring, and familiar face with me to deliver my baby was so helpful for me and my husband. I can't recommend them enough.

I was additionally led to believe that the practice focuses on the nervous system as Chiropractors. My diagnosis from Dr. Blackwell of Cleveland Clinic provided a diagnoses of Piriformis Syndrome (rightG57.01) - Acute Right side. Prior to the second visit I was led to believe there would be an adjustment within this office, that did not occur as I was referred to another Chiropractor that "she does a lot of business with" and I have a witness. She was additionally pushing for an MRI for self pay that I would have to sign up for. These remarks of an MRI were disturbing as I do not have health insurance until July. I, again brought my support system, whom is my partner/boyfriend to this second appointment today 06/09/2026. I was disrespected as she directed much of her attention and explanations to him rather than to me. Her actions were inappropriate, as I expected information regarding MY health treatment to be communicated DIRECTLY to me. This experience left me unheard, disregarded and fully dissatisfied with the care I received. While I understand I signed an ROI, that not does mean that the doctor should direct all of the care, while face-to-face, with the concerned patient, treatment as well as further follow up to my partner/boyfriend as I am very well equipped, intellectually to comprehend the diagnoses. With all of the above being stated, this entire experience was absolutely insulting, full of disappointment and a hinder toward encouraging positive healing, health and well-being.
