We have an '85 Vanagon that we've been driving across the country for the last six weeks or so…read more We've had issues for the past few weeks and have contacted people in pretty much every state we've been through (from Michigan to Maine and now down in Virginia and everywhere in between) and everyone has told us that the soonest they'd be able to get us in is the fall (we live in seattle, so that's not in any way practical). We just happened to drive by skyline on our way to a winery, and figured we'd take the chance and pop in to see if they could help us. I'm so so grateful we did. They obviously have a lot of work on their hands, but they got us in within a few hours. Not only did they fix our exhaust issue, but they showed my husband a few other things that he should look out for and get fixed when we can, and even gave us a few bottles of water to help beat the heat. I could not be happier with R&j Auto Shop!…read more I have a 99 Chevy Silverado that has sat for years. I put a charger on it, which read 14.4 volts, but still it would not crank. I reached out to a number of shops, and R&j was the most responsive and reasonable. I am so glad I did. Jorge was very communicative, and texted me to let me know when he would be arriving. He brought all the tools needed to diagnose the problem. Since it was an easy diagnosis, Jorge did not charge a diagnostic fee, which was very reasonable. Jorge let me order the parts I needed, and even suggested I replace the serpentine belt at no additional cost. He replaced the alternator, battery and removed the aftermarket alarm that was draining the electrical system. He even diagnosed the brake issue that we found once the truck was running. R&j Auto Shop is my go to for quality, quick auto repairs. Jorge is a great guy and easy to work with. I highly recommend R&j Auto Repair!!
