It was my first time to ever play paintball and it was a lot of fun and the staff is really encouraging. My experience: You park in a gravel lot and there are park benches under a cover. We brought pizza & cake & lots of water for fuel throughout the day. Our team was required to play with a minimum of 10 people for a private party experience (so you don't end up playing with pros). We had a group varying in age 20s to age 50s. A good mix. Our Ref was Luke Savage and he was so incredible and encouraging to all of us. He helped us get gear, and the staff was friendly and made sure our masks were real tight so they didn't fall off mid battle. We used rental guns and had barely any issues that weren't fixable by the Ref. They were good guns to play with. Luke explained the rules very clearly before we headed out. We played with low impact paintballs so that it would "hurt less" but in all honesty, I'm a small woman and I barely noticed a small sting when I got shot. So those are good balls to first play with. At each field Luke had us pick new teams with new captains each time so everyone got a turn. But I'm sure you could keep the same team all day if you wished. We should have brought swappable bandannas to help mark who was who in the field. That would have helped a lot. There were a good amount of different playing fields with different themes and different variations of games like capture the flag or Tombstone. It was nice to not play the same thing all day. Between fields Luke would escort us back to the benches to reload paintballs, cool off, and get water. The breaks were appreciated. Bring good shoes!! My favorite part of the whole day was that our Ref Luke would watch us play and give everyone shoutouts at the end of games. It was incredibly encouraging to get confirmation that you weren't playing badly and that he noticed each person's different gameplay. Luke Savage you rock!! TLDR: All in all, for a first timer, I would play again AND I would come back to Avid Extreme Sports. The facilities were clean, the staff is fun and encouraging, and the games are fun. Looking forward to playing again after I'm less sore!

The website also stated that they paid cash for used Golf equipment and it was specific for what brands. I returned again from North Edmond on Monday only to be told that they did not buy used golf equipment they only did trade. This place needs to fix its web page and the owner needs to learn some manners. He was very condescending and arrogant. Not professional at all.
