I have been going to this laundromat for a few years during the previous and now current owners and…read morehave always had a good experience until the morning of 02/16/2024. Every time I go I use the same washers and the same dryers. on a previous trip I noticed one of the dryers wasn't getting hot and it shut off. I took as a one off incident and on 2/16/2024 I used the same dryers. The same dryer that shut off the last time shut off again and when touching the glass it was not as hot as the other dryers around it. I alerted the male attendant who I believe to be the owner that something is wrong with the dryer, it's shutting off and it's not getting hot as my clothes were still damp. Instead of taking accountability after I told him my personal experience, he proceeds to tell me that he's been around these machines for 400+ days and that the dryer shuts off when things stick to the sides to prevent overheating and fires. I told him I don't over stuff the dryer and he said it has nothing to do with over stuffing the dryer. He then tells me I can't go by the heat on the glass because it's thick tempered glass and you have to go by the feel of the inside of the dryer. He restarts the dryer for an additional 15 minutes and walks off. At the 4 minute mark the dryer shuts off again and I open it and per what he said I tested the inside of the dryer, I find that my clothes are cold and the inside of the dryer is also cold. I then opened another one of the dryers that I used that day and that had been off for at least 10 minutes and those were still warm inside. If a dryer is working properly clothes should come out warm NOT cold and the inside would be warm NOT cold and that wasn't the experience. So I went back to the male attendant to once again notify him that the dryer isn't working properly. His reply was "well dryers cool down before they stop and are my clothes dry and if not find another dryer". Yes in fact dryers do cool down before they stop but not with 4 minutes left on the timer and it's not a freezer it doesn't cool down to cold. Also asking me if my clothes are dry doesn't negate the fact that the dryer still isn't working properly. BTW my close were not fully dry. It's unfortunate that my personal experience and observation was dismissed along with the attitude and lack of accountability I received. Im not a liar and as a business owner if a customer is letting you know that your equipment is faulty why would you dismiss it and not look into it especially since you lowered the drying time from 8 minutes to 5 minutes per 25 cents and when the dryer shuts off randomly the timer doesn't stop it keeps counting. More money to you but a loss to the customer when a machine doesn't work properly. If you patron this establishment watch your machines!

I brought it to Mercury Dry Cleaners in Bloomfield because they have a sign outside that says 'same day service'. They can also deliver your dry cleaned items to your door. I went to drop off my jacket on Monday at 4:30. The girl said it would be ready the next day at 4:00, this was perfect for me. She asked if there were any stains that needed special attention, I said no. It was only $6.00 for the dry cleaning of my jacket. I could pay at pick up or at drop off. I went to pick it up the next day. It was perfect, on a hanger, with a clear bag over it. My jacket was clean and smelled fresh. I was very happy with the service. It was efficient, very quick, as promised and at a great price. I recommend going here for your dry cleaning needs.

They completely ruined it. It came back a full 6 inches shorter in the back than in the front. I mentioned it when I went in initially as the way she had it pinned made it look like it would be shorter in the back but she assured me that was just the way she pinned it and the finished product would be fine. It is not. It's not even wearable at this point. I will never go back here. They have no idea what they're doing. They didn't ask me to try it on when I picked it up and I didn't really think anything about it because it was a straightforward alteration. Now I know why they just let me walk out with it.

The good thing about this place, aside from the fact it is open 24 hours, is that it is coin op OR you use Apple or Google pay on your phone, instead of a card, via the QR reader. The prices for washing are reasonable and the machines are well maintained. I found for drying it is a bit pricey (6 minutes/25 cents) but they do dry quickly. I would recommend coming here, though not too late because it can get deserted at times and it's not well lit. Though there are cameras around it's not the safest after 11, IMO.
