I'm just off the phone with batterystuff associates, Josh, and later Anthony were extremely rude, unprofessional, and impatient, could not answer any general questions, and were also not transparent about their company's policies. That is not the experience one would expect when dealing with a "reputable" company. In full honesty, I get much better responses when buying off eBay. I happened to be in contact with RV Upgrades and Aircraft Spruce associates, and their customer service is actually of high quality. I ordered a couple of chargers from the website, everything was going well, I received them, and they work as described, after about a month of use one of the chargers, Redipulse12 stopped working. Bottom Line: A great place to buy batteries! Ive been buying batteries from these guys for years. They have great prices on the Scorpion AGM sealed motorcycle batteries that ive put in all my bikes. Bought my second Scorpion AGM motorcycle battery from them on Thursday to replace the old Scorpion battery on my 1700cc Roadstar that I purchased from Battery Stuff almost 5 years ago (shame they don't last longer ; ) The new battery arrived on Sunday, of all things as I was not expecting it to come until Tuesday, and was extremely well packaged (these guys have shipping motorcycle batteries dialed in. At least the AGM batteries) Thanks for the speedy shipping and great packaging... The old battery was made in Viet Nam and lasted almost 5 years (I ride every day). The new one is made in China but I'm hoping it gives me similar service.... I guess time will tell. read more

Terrible Customer Service. Anyone that rates this company with high marks clearly has never had to deal with an issue with them. We purchased a battery charger which showed up dead on arrival. We contacted the company which told us we would have to contact the manufacturer to run diagnostic tests. After a lot of nonsense and delays, the company said we could send it back and that we would have to pay for return shipping. I understand is a common policy but that we would also have to pay a 20% restocking fee and a $30 testing fee. I guess the $30 was a fee to plug it in as it has no on or off switch. I ordered a battery for my scooter from THEIR application chart. The battery does not fit as it is too tall. I call for a return authorization and point out to them that two other batteries they indicate for the Vespa will not fit either. Today I received a notice of credit back minus $6. I call them to inquire what this is about and am told in the fine print it indicates this will be charged for returns. OK I said but this was ordered based on YOUR application chart, and now you want to charge me for your mistakes? He then goes on about how they only pass on the info that the manufacturers give them and it's not Battery Stuff's fault. I ask, then why aren't you charging the manufacturer the $6 for the return? It was clear they were digging their heals in about this and I ended the call. Terrible. Helped build my solar system for my survalence camera. They built it too small and it didn't supply enough power. I called back and the tech guy was just rude and arrogant. Blamed me for not providing the right info. But I did. And at the time of purchase the guy had no problem selling me the system. Then the tech told me how difficult it would be to return my items and that there was a restocking fee. Blah blah. Horrible customer service. Don't waste your time and money. read more
