Great until battery faulty. Then charge me £20 to get it collected, don't communicate when this will be telling me I should have ready the warranty small print! Tell me it will be collected on a day then it wasn't. Tell me they will rearrange and it wasn't. Now tell me I have to fork out another £20 to get it collected. Then tell me to take to Halfords to get them to check it and email them with fault report. Get it checked and Halfords tested struggles to even read how bad the battery is. Send them the report and get told that it wasn't tested properly as it wasn't charged! Its DUFF and it wont charge!!! Now tell me that, yes you have guessed it, I need to pay them another £20!!! If you want a good service and prompt delivery DO NOT USE BATTERY MEGASTORE. Waited 5 days from order to receive my battery, I will use AMAZON PRIME next time for sure who deliver NEXT DAY. Poor Customer Service too when I asked where is my battery, just blamed courier UK Mail and didn't call me back as they said they would. read more

I found a product on their web site that I wanted to purchase. I phoned batterymegastore.co.uk and asked about the spec as there was very little info on the web site. Immediately after the phone call I ordered the product online and they had put the price up to £322.96 from £178.50. They must have realised a mistake on their web site. I phoned and spoke to Paul. They certainly were not interested in taking responsibility for their mistake, not even apologetic. We cannot sell it at the advertised price. We will do you a special price. I'll phone you back with the price. I waited and waited. After 5 hours Paul had not bothered to call back. I phoned them back... £20 off the normal price. Whats the normal price? Its £288.95 So now another different price than the web site! No responsibility, No customer service, NOT IMPRESSED. read more

I have purchased from Battery Megastore many times over the years and their product, price and service is amazing.

Ordered a battery in January because the website stated next day delivery, and the car picker lets you choose a battery for your specific make and model of car. After several days I contacted Battery Megastore to be told it's with UK Mail. Waited and waited, no response. Emailed again and was told they would find out what was happening from UK Mail - didn't hear back. After several more chases I was told UK Mail had a problem with my postcode it turned out this was incorrect. Gave correct deals and was told this would be sent on to UK Mail. I checked the dimensions of my existing battery and became concerned that the details on the Battery Megastore battery picker was incorrect as the one I'd ordered looked too big for my car (despite their website stating it was compatible). I told them and was told it could be returned if it didn't fit. Waited and waited, chased and chased, nothing. After a month I demanded a refund only to be told the battery would be with me the next day. A few days later it turned up. Except I had ordered an Alphaline and this was a different make - and it didn't fit! I complained on 08/03/2015 and received a reply at 16:50 the next day saying that the website says to check the dimensions are correct - it doesn't. I replied to demand a full refund and I'm still waiting to hear back. I will never use these people again - I've been lumbered with the wrong battery, it took months to arrive, and Battery Megastore aren't even bothering to respond to my complaint properly. They also *only* ever seem to reply to emails ten minutes before they close. I'm reporting them to trading standards and will be going to the small claims court. read more

They give a keen price and good product quality, never any complaint until the last (third) purchase from them. I bought a golf trolley battery and paid £6.25 + vat for next day UK delivery. Ordered by phone on Wednesday, waited in all day on Thursday, rang late afternoon and told that driver could not find the address. Gave instructions and waited on Friday, rang at 4.45 p.m. and was told that tracking team had gone home for bank holiday and would be back on Tuesday. On the Tuesday morning I was told it would be delivered that day, and I gave instructions to have it left at the rear garden gate. My wife came home in the afternoon and received a call from a gentlemen in a house about half a mile away. She collected the package from him which was clearly addressed with my correct address, post code and telephone number. The only thing in common with the house to which it was delivered was the house number (3). One can only assume that the delivery driver was illiterate. When I rang to complain the sales department were complacent and said that though the next day delivery was offered it could not be guaranteed since they were dependent on the delivery contractor. I thought that they ought to have refunded the £7.50 that I had paid and deducted it from the delivery contractor but this suggestion was ignored. I would use them again but do not rely on prompt delivery, I was fortunately able to borrow my wife's trolley, but next time I will not wait in for them to find me (John Lewis and Amazon never have any trouble in fining our house). read more
