Overall, this was a great experience. I had to change the battery in my automobile's key fob. I have never had to do this before, but my XT5 sent a signal saying change it and I certainly did not want to get stranded somewhere, so I decided to change it ASAP. I first called an auto part store and they said for liability reasons, they could sell me the battery, but could not install it or even begin to tell ne how to do it. I then remembered that we have a battery store in the Waterford Lakes area and called them. The very friendly girl there not only had the battery, but changed it and out the door, it was about fourteen dollars. You really can't complain about that. I came here today for the first time to get a few things taken care of. First, I needed the battery in my car remote fixed which they could do for a $20 lifetime change (should the battery die again in the future) or $12 for a one time fix. I went with the one time fix. Then I needed help getting a battery replaced in my daughter's baby monitor. They didn't have it in stock but offered to take the battery apart to then fix it and replace the broken pieces. (That's my version of what I understood he was going to do). But I left my old battery, paid for the replacement parts and need to pick up the new battery tomorrow. Lastly, I needed a new wall charger for the monitor also. They didn't have the exact one I needed but did offer a universal model with different pieces to fit the item that needs to be charged. Overall, the baby monitor items cost me $40 to get it fixed which saved me buying a while new monitor that would have easily been over $100. Service: A young man named Justin helped me out and was super patient and informative. I had a lot of questions and he was detailed in explaining things to me in a way that made sense and he was very personable. I enjoyed interacting with him! If you need to get your phone fixed, I would strongly suggest you do not go here. I was just getting the front screen replaced on my iPhone, and after waiting about an hour the store called me and informed me that there was an issue. The new screen that they had put on my phone was defective, but it was the only one in store, and they ordered a new one, but it would not arrive until 2 days later. The larger issue at hand was that they informed me after they tried to put the old screen back on (which they had told me they were not careful with, and it was much more cracked then it was before), the screen blacked out and was not coming back on. After this, I informed them I would just like my phon back and I will take it elsewhere. About an hour later, they called again and said that the employee performing the "repair" had left out the proximity sensor. The employee had no sympathy for my situation, and did not offer an apology of any kind, and did not try to provide any consolation for sending me back with a practically non-functioning phone. Would absolutely not recommend going here for a repair or for decent customer service. read more

Inferior iPhone screen used in repair and technician named Fernando broke home button during repair. Finger ID was broken permanently during this repair as well. Manager in Training Lea then offered to fix the button for free, claimed it would take two business days to order when it took two weeks. After replacing the button, button broke after two days. The use of after market glass was not stated until after the repair was complete. The lack of responsiveness glass causes display lag on the iPhone's touch screen. Manager in Training Lea and Technician Fernando seemed lost in calls we had with them. They would frequently just go silent during calls to the store. Repairing with this store has cost us money and stress. Please repair with UBREAKIFIX or through standard routes even if the price is higher. read more

As with other visits, I am constantly amazed that no matter what I need (this time it was an obscure bulb) Batteries Plus Bulbs always comes through! This is getting really weird, as I just now realized that last time we had burned out an old halogen fixture for our entertainment center; and, this seems like exactly the same problem! However, my wife reminded me that on the last visit, we picked up a tubular lamp, while this time it was a bulb. We even bought an extra tubular bulb last time, for when the third one goes. Any reputable company would honor that and the OTHER Battery + location that I originally purchased it from did with a Grace period. My daughter had water damage with her iPhone 6S. Water damage can be tricky. Little did I know that Batteries Plus Bulbs ALSO did Phone Repairs! I've had such great experiences in pricing and services before with Car Batteries that I decided to try out the Phone repairs. Cut to the end: I am so glad we decided to go to the store for the repair. Crystal is a wizard with the phones and quickly diagnosed the phone with screen damage and battery damage. After about 45 minutes, she had taken the entire phone apart, dried it thoroughly and reassembled with new parts. She took the time to explain what was broken, why she replaced certain parts and even showed us a short on the original that happened when the phone hit the water. All in all, this was a great experience and I will definitely be back when and if we need future iPhone repairs. read more

Very unreliable service. Nice people who shamefully don't know how to follow up with people and communicate among themselves. my iPhone has been dying very fast the last couple of weeks so I used their online appointment service. I arrived on time in which they told me they didn't have any more batteries in stock. They said they called me ... my phone was dead and I told them that online- but they still though it was a good idea to assume I got the call, show up, and tell me that they didn't have my battery. The person told me that he made a "special order" just for me and it would be there in the next day or two. So I waited 3 days - still nothing. Then saw online that I had my appointment made. I'm like ok cool - so I give the store a call to confirm. I spoke to the manager who had no idea what was ordered for me. Then tells me that they will have one of their employees go to another location and pick up a battery for me- I'm like that's nice of them for the inconvenience. It's been over a week and a half after that phone call - STILL NO RESPONSE FROM THEM. At first a problem. They were supposed to replace the IPAD battery in my daughter's tablet. They did but it would not charge past 46% and when un-plugged it would rapidly discharge. They also brought to my attention a blemish on the screen that was not there when we brought in the tablet. That being said they brought the defect to my attention and took full responsibility plus did not argue one bit about the bad battery. They ordered a new battery and screen, replaced them and gave it back in excellent condition no charge. They earned my respect. read more

Purchased a battery for my motorcycle in preparation of a long trip. Opting for a newer battery was a precaution and not due to the performance of old battery. Unfortunately, the new battery never seem to crank as promised. It may also have been close to causing a fire during first 2 hours of ride forcing me to cancel trip. Nothing in the battery storage area to cause a short and all cables were confirmed correctly connected yet battery began to frequently lose contact on the negative post. Occurred enough times as to weld in the cable bolt (had to break to remove) and began melting plastic battery cover. After returning home and reinstalling old battery the issue stopped. Attempted to have Alafaya store replace the motorcycle battery but was met with "you probably installed it wrong" and "it has a charge". Having never disputed the batteries charge and confident the installation (2 cables +/-) this made no sense to me. Seeing it was obvious I would not be given a replacement, rather than argue I left the store. Now out over $150, I can never safely use this battery and therefore would not attempt to do so. Maybe I will attempt to address it with the manufacturer and BBB. read more
