I went in to replace the battery in my key fob and they were very helpful and friendly. After they replaced the battery they let me check to see if it worked before I bought it. That was so great cuz I had problems before when I had it changed I was stuck with a bad battery and I couldn't return to get another battery put in unless I was willing to pay another charge. Despite what the corporate website says, this store would not replace the ailing battery on my Google Pixel 4. Said these phones were "a hassle." (If they weren't, I would have replaced it myself. So when I first saw this store opening in the new Harris teeter shopping center it gave me a chuckle. I kept thinking about the old Saturday night live sketch, the one about the sad little shopping mall containing stores like the Scotch tape boutique and the puppy palace. I never really thought about going to buy a battery or a bulb. Fast forward a couple of months, and I'm reading an article about the store doing technical work on cell phones. For example, replacing batteries on iPhones or Androids in which the customer can't do the work. Being the owner of an old Droid turbo 2 which is sealed and not meant for battery replacement, I was intrigued. I called the shop and spoke to the manager who said they could order a battery and it would take a couple of days to arrive. True to her word, they called when the battery came in and I scheduled an appointment to have the phone fixed. I dropped it off and it took the technician about an hour to replace the battery and put the phone back together. The entire cost was about $74. That's a pretty good deal considering a new phone would have cost me about $850. With the new battery the phone works great and I didn't lose any data or files, the work was guaranteed for a year. it's nice not to remain tethered to the power cord as I have been for the past couple of months due to the failing battery on my Droid. They also have every bulb and battery imaginable, Plus all kinds of cool techie items and phone accessories. read more

This place is a joke when it comes to fixing broken cell phones. They told us it would be an hour to replace a broken screen. After 3 hrs we hadn't heard anything so we called the store. They said they broke a piece and it wouldn't be in til the following Monday. We brought the phone back the following Friday and they said it would take 5 minutes to fix the piece they broke, at no cost. Dropped the phone off, waited 10 min and went back in. They said it wasn't ready yet so we left for another hour to run errands. Came back and they phone still wasn't ready. They said it would be another minute or two. When they finally finished, I asked if this is how they estimate times for all customers. They said they were sorry and they would give us a discount if they could but they can't. Won't be utilizing their services again. Wish 98.3 would stop promoting this business as such a great place. read more

Staff was very friendly. I was there to get an iPad battery replaced. They were very thorough in ensuring all components worked prior to accepting the repair. They completed the repair faster than quoted. They provided me the opportunity to test the iPad just as it had been prior to them accepting it. So far the new battery works great. I will definitely be bringing my devices here for repair . . . hopefully I won't have to. read more

If you are having relationship issues during Corona Virus, stay away from here. Having to let my spouse put purchasing kids' birthday presents on hold because I had to swallow THREE HUNDRED EIGHTEEN DOLLAR IPhone screen replacement bill; wouldn't wish on my worst enemy. Will leave an updated review once I return From secondary repair once the malfunctioning blue tooth & touch screen are again functional. Waited most of the day on Saturday, kids crying in the backseat, walking around Harris teeter, ice cream shop, with masks on, got hair cuts next door, stalling for time while repair underway. We went in just to check it out and we're going to get a battery for a key fob while we were there. They didn't have it and recommended we look online - uh, yeah. I'm sure if they have what your looking for and you're in a hurry for it you'd be glad for the storefront.... other reviews mention there phone/iPad battery fixes, but we are still surprised the store has enough business for brick and mortar. Definitely an amazing place! The staff is beyond helpful! Michael and Andrew were the ones who helped me a couple weeks ago and service was spot on. My phone looked as if I just bought again, was done quicker than the time I was told so can't beat that!!!! Update: manger lied to corporate about the qualifications of the tech and now corporate will not do anything. I am out $400 so don't risk your money the store will not support the customer. I have seen some of the same reviews but I will reiterate what others have said. DO NOT BRING YOUR PHONE HERE. My screen was broken on my phone and so glass wasn't everywhere I cleaned up the glass before I brought it in. They did an intake on the phone and went to work. I talked to one employee and he said the other employee was going to work on the phone because he wasn't qualified. Long story short the employees both said the phone was tested good and brought it out. When they handed the phone to me it was obvious that something was very loose in the phone. Not just the normal Samsung camera shake. While I was paying the $400 bill he went through the test that was already completed in the back and the camera errored out. They said no problem it sounds like the camera didn't seat all the way. They took it back and reseated the camera. Still no luck so they ordered a new camera. A week later they replaced the camera an still didn't work, that is when the excuses started. They said well it was brought in in pieces. Reminder just the glass was off. And told me the owner would call me on Tuesday to figure out what they could do. That call never came so I called today[Friday] and the manager said she got busy and hadn't called me yet. She was calm at first but then started to tell me that there's no way to tell if the camera worked when it came in. I said your techs said it worked in the back and she said she doesn't trust that that tech actually did the test. This is the same tech that said he wasn't qualified to work on the phones. The manager told me he is the one that did the repair. After a circle argument the Manger started getting very rude on the phone so I just informed her I would let the corporate office figure it out. Mind you I'm 42 years old and this is the first time I have ever called a corporate office about a store. Since she was adimmit about blaming me for their store breaking my camera I was not going to deal with her any longer. We will see what happens from here.
