This is one of the best playgrounds for young kids I've ever been to, let alone in the Lymington area.
Set alongside the Lymington River, there is plenty going on to watch across the moorings and ferry terminal as you push your kids on the swings, and on a clear day you get a good view of the Isle of Wight in the distance.
The play equipment is modern, well-maintained and clean with a notable (and welcome) absence of graffiti. There is a large nautical themed climbing frame in the centre with slides, rope nets, climbing chute and straightforward steps for the less agile.
There are four swings (two for babies and toddlers) and a further large 'bucket' swing which older kids will enjoy piling into together. There's also a dedicated climbing wall, spinning cup, two rockers, and best of all (according to my kids anyway), a small trampoline pit.
I've spent many an hour here with the kids in all seasons, and it never fails to be a popular place - with good reason. read more
