No "hello" or greeting upon entering the store. Only a pushy attempt to hand me a basket in the hopes that I fill it up with an abundance of items I don't need and hadn't planned to purchase. It's a marketing ploy to get customers to spend more money. As I begin to shop, I have to maneuver around five employees huddled together, making disparaging remarks about another employee. I don't want to hear that. It makes me think that when I leave, those same five employees will talk about me and make disparaging remarks about me. It doesn't foster a positive environment for staff or customers. Let's move to my purchase. As I approach the counter, a timid, mealy-mouthed girl mumbles something unintelligible at a level two volume. I have no idea what she's saying or to whom she's talking. I get to the counter and make my purchase--or attempt to. At the 'end' of the transaction, I hand her my money and she says, "Oh, you're paying with cash. We only accept cards at this register." What. I ask if it says that anywhere, or if I missed something. Mush mouthed master of mediocrity then says, "I said it clearly to you when you walked up!" This is the first time Communications Kamakazi spoke clearly since the transaction began. Then after challenging me and giving me a difficult time. I suggest that moving forward she make eye contact with the customer before noting which register is for what. That way she can better ensure the customer hears her. She then moves me to the register next to her. The one that actually accepts cash. I ask that employee if they've ever considered a sign. She proceeds to double down in support of the blank face, low standard, low talker and gets argumentative. Seriously! This is not worth arguing about. I'm not. I refuse to argue with this expired Miss Jackie Needsabath. Geez. Super simple. Just make eye contact with the customer. Get their attention and state, which registers are for what. Or better yet. At the b-e-g-i-n-n-i-n-g of the transaction, ask if it will be cash or card. The entire experience was a total turn off. I was very tempted to just leave all my stuff there and walk away. Everyone in that store pretty much disgusted me in one way or another. I do not recommend visiting this location. Every location is not like this. Thank God. But this one is awful and I never want to go there again. read more

After grabbing some eats nearby with the BF's family, the girls and I made our way to Bath and Body Works to take advantage of their semi-annual sale. Can you say 3-wick candles for $12.95? Because I sure can! PRO: Almost everything in the store was on sale! CON: This means that the shelves were picked over and selection was limited. PRO: Staff was more than willing to offer assistance! CON: After the third time of being offered help - I'm over it. PRO: It's located in The Orchard Town Center with TONS of other shops and plenty of parking nearby. CON: None! While I do love my Bath and Body Works; I can't say that I will be making a special trip back to this location. Though if I'm in the area I will gladly stop back in. read more

This location was absolutely terrible. One star is too high of a rating. I walked in to purchase a few things. Everyone around me was being greeted and offered a shopping basket. I was not spoken to once. It was hard not to notice that I was the only person of color in the store and not being spoken to. I walked around more to grab my items and found the shopping baskets myself. As I kept walking around looking at things, store employees were restocking things. I am not sure why because everything was very stocked, but there were specifically two employees talking and laughing right in front of some items I needed to look for a specific thing for. I didn't want to be rude so I waited behind them in case they were trying to stock something I couldn't see. They both looked right at me, continued laughing and acted like I was invisible. I walked over to another display where another girl did the same exact thing to me. Finally fed up about the rude employees, I went to the counter to pay for my items. The woman who checked out the person in front of me was laughing and making small talk with her. When I stepped up, she did not greet me. She asked if I wanted a bag for 10 cents and scanned everything. She looked at me after she finished scanning and didn't say anything. I just tapped my card and she placed the bag in front of me and called the next person. I walked out of there feeling so defeated and worthless. The next day after contemplating if I was just being over dramatic, my friends affirmed that I was not and urged me to call the manager to talk about this. I called the store and spoke to a manager who could care less about what I said. She sounded annoyed and offered the corporate customer service phone number. I ultimately went ahead and called corporate where they were very understanding and apologetic. After reading reviews, it looks like this happens often. I urged them to look into unconscious bias training for their employees. This was the worst experience I have had in a store in a long time. You never know what someone is going through. I really appreciate the staff at this location. I've shopped there for about two years now. Everyone is always friendly and knowledgeable. The store is clean and organized. This store has a great selection and the stick is always changing. read more

I am not one to be quick to write reviews but to say this place is even a 1 star is being generous. I checked both online and the maps for hours being driving over 20 min to this location. When I arrived the lady working not only closed the store early, but told us we needed to leave & was not kind or apologetic about it. This is a laughable location and will not be back. There is a reason they have a laughably low review! PISS POOR MANAGEMENT! Rudest manager I've ever come across. Doesn't follow corporate policy and makes up her own. Treats customers like a garbage and talks to them like they are beneath her and talks smack about them within earshot. For the record corporate ensured me I was indeed able to exchange candles regardless of age due to the 100 satisfaction guarantee. She even tried to take the paper bag she handed me when I walked in. I am assuming she was a manager due to her holier than thou demeanor but she could have been an associate on a power trip too. Never been talked down to like that in my life and never will allow a person working in retail to talk to me like that again. Get a master's degree and then talk to me like I'm stupid! LMAO. They sent me a gift card due to the associate's rudeness. Wouldn't go around treating customers like crap or soon you won't have any. Took the SAME CANDLES to the store on 120th and was treated kindly and able to even exchange no problem. Then I spent $75 more. See how that works?!? Won't be back to Orchard ever. I went to this location today, and the windows were all covered in brown paper, and all signage was gone. Nothing indicated that they moved to another location within the Orchard. Does anyone have any more info on this? This was the closest B&BW to where I live, so I am disappointed. read more

Me and my wife went in about a week ago to check out the "amazing" sale they were advertising. All seemed well until we reached the register, an older woman "Christy" rudely informed us that all of our items were all full priced. I walked to the fixture that had multiple of the same lotions and body washes in the 50% off and various sale areas, but then you would walk to another part of the store and they were all set up in other spots too. I asked her about that and she just seemed like she was ready to go home, she wouldn't even let me talk or ask questions. I was so flustered at the way the situation was handled, I took pictures and went to another Bath and body works on 104th to confirm and it turns out I was right. The store was in shambles, things were placed in the wrong area by employees and the woman at the 104th location said that they were at fault if their store set up was really that messed up. read more

Tried to go to this location and they had locked the door before the 8pm closing time that was posted on their window. I could see three employees standing around talking inside so I called the desk and the woman who answered refused to re-open the store. Terrible customer service. read more
