The staff proceeded to tell me they don't have that and I showed them the picture and they said that the website sometimes doesn't always update which is understandable. But when I asked if they could just double check in the back to see if they had it, they said we don't have it. So probably won't be coming back for a while, which is a bummer because I love this place.

Rude from the moment I walked in, I have never been treated so poorly in any store in my life. I have been here more than a handful of time and spent a lot of money and time here, but this was completely unnecessary and unacceptable. If this could get a zero star transaction, it would. I generally just buy pants here because they fit well. The tops...not so much. If you are not large with big knockers you will have a very hard time finding tops, dresses or bras here. I am glad that they have new styles of jeans because for a few years I didn't like the ones they had so I had to settle for ill fitting jeans from other stores. I also really like their Houston pant. They are my go to pant. A bit pricey but worth it because I feel comfortable shopping there and I enjoy the clothes. This location is usually not too busy and well stocked.

I found a couple of packs of hair that would do the job, but there were no price tags. I asked the woman at the register to check the price and she scanned them both, an 18" and 22" pack. In the same brand in the same line, the 18" inch rang up as $49.99, and the 22" rang up with a very different description and at $99.95. I asked the woman at the register if she could double check the price of the 22" pack, because 4 additional inches doesn't usually double the price and the description was off. She came back and said the manager told her that the prices in the system were wrong, and that the 18" were $79.99 and 22" were $120. I was pretty shocked that my questionable $150 purchase had just been raised to $200 after price checking the original prices in the system. I asked to speak with her, and she came up and was insistent that these new prices were correct, with zero apology for the increase or for their apparent error in loading the prices in their POS system. I told her that if I hadn't asked about the 22" price, I could've just paid the amount on the register and been done, and she said no, the woman at the register would have known something was wrong and gotten the manager anyway. Ummm... that's now what was happening. The woman at the register was very gracious about it all, the manager... notsomuch. Next time I'll have to allow more time to order from somewhere else where the prices for the 18" are $40-$60 and the 22" are $60-$80.

That's what made this experience especially disappointing. I no longer live nearby, so when I'm in the neighborhood I sometimes bring partially used or half-filled containers to refill--something that has never been an issue in the past and is consistent with how refilleries typically operate. During my most recent visit, however, the service I received was unprofessional and deeply uncomfortable. The staff member who assisted us said her name was Carly (not sure if that was accurate). She is a tall white woman with glasses and a brown, slightly curly bob haircut. From the start, she made repeated presumptions--first questioning whether my partner and I were together (we are a biracial couple), and then repeatedly challenging whether our containers were actually half-full even after we provided the weights. Her tone was accusatory rather than curious, and it felt like we were being treated with suspicion rather than respect. As a longtime customer, this interaction felt biased, presumptuous, and frankly degrading. I left feeling uncomfortable and unwelcome, which is the opposite of what I expect from a community-oriented, values-driven business. I hope ownership takes this feedback seriously and provides additional training around customer interactions, bias awareness, and how to handle questions without making customers feel interrogated or judged. I want to continue supporting businesses like this--but experiences like this make that difficult.
