The staff was wonderful to work with, the transaction was super smooth, and communication was great. When the goats came, Farmer Ethan was quick to set up and gave us all plenty of time to pet the goats and play in the pen with them. At the end, he let the birthday girl bottle-feed the baby goat and gave her a birthday gift (a cute, branded hat) which was not expected at all. 10/10 would recommend.

Cobbs Adventure Park in Calgary AB was definitely a great and fun place to visit !!!…read moreIt is a mix of zoo, activities, games and rides for the kids and family, a little restaurant and sweets stand :) The zoo is a bit of an animal farm with two capybaras, kangaroos and wallabies, sheep, goats, pigs, porcupines, emus, chickens / roosters and a turkey, and a sloth. Part of the experience is that, with the purchase of tickets, you can go into the capybara enclosure and meet the capys, feed and pet them. We are big fans of capybaras, we saw them in person at the Edmonton zoo, and follow many accounts on Instagram, but this was our first time meeting and petting them. They are super relaxed and super friendly. We had the opportunity to feed them fruits and greens, which was so funny!! We then visited the kangaroos and wallabies. Both were friendly, soft and used to humans. We visited with them, and fed them foods. We visited and interacted with the sheep and alpacas, which were also nice to see and pet. The staff of the park were very friendly and professional, and answered any questions visitors would have about animals. The ambiance was very nice - visiting with the animals, having a snack or busy with the games, it was a great day to enjoy the outdoors and animals!!

It just sorta felt like a basic walk in the park and I didn't see anything more than I would have at any green spot/ park. Bummed because I was so looking forward to it. Did enjoy the teepees and thought they should have put a sign/ explanation along the path for the Colonels house. On the upside it was free.

It's free to enjoy and the paths are well kept. The building houses some information on the birds that we might come across as well as it offers rest rooms and a water fountain. It's just too bad Deerfoot is surrounding it to take away from the peacefulness and drowns out the sounds of nature.

The city did an awesome job leaving a lot of space for the dogs and owners to walk them. Unfortunately this park has recently increased in volume of people and it's a shame because it has attracted a high number of dog owners who treat the park like a free for all and are not watching their dogs so more poop is being left behind and the dogs are not under control when they need to be. We recently had two incidents with a dog owner who completely disregarded the off-leash by-laws and his large dog chased our small dog and rolled her and bit her like she was a stuffy toy it was playing with. The owner couldn't of cared less. He just shook his head and reacted like "oh well" and he's not the only one. Their are number of older folks and some small children that use this park as well and this type of behavior is increasing so be aware if you do choose to go to this park. There are some lovely people and dogs there as well but you know the old saying " one bad egg can ruin it for the rest" Cheryl M.

They provide everything you need to have a paintball party: safety equipment, lots of land to roam, places to hide, and free hot dogs. Based only on her feedback, we'd probably come back every weekend. She already is making plans for the summer and winter... Our initial observation as we drove up the dirt road into the site was that someone once owned a tire dump and instead of just setting it on fire they thought it would be amusing if they arranged the tires in clumps and city folk would pay for the privelege of running around them and shooting each other with paint guns. The location is really far away from Calgary, but you drive through some beautiful foothills on some winding roads and some lovely creeks. The kids spent 2 hours running around and 1 hour eating cupcakes, and were deliriously happy when we picked them up. Not sure if they have running water on site, so expect more campsite-style amenities, like portapotties, which is the only blemish.

A big park, but not too big. We were able to walk it all. Ponds house the ducks amongst the babbling brooks and happy squirrels run this way and that over acres and acres of grass. There are several ball diamonds and a tennis court. Many places for families to gather as there were an abundance of tables and benches left in memory to loved ones.
