You might worry that that means they're slightly outdated pieces but one of the advantages of Leona Edmiston's pieces are that they are brilliantly timeless. I found that she is particularly good at designing bold printed wrap dresses which would be both wearable as a show-stopping daytime number or as an elegant evening dress. The shop is nicely laid out too with a boutique-y table set in the centre under a chandelier and embroidered chairs by the changing rooms. Shopping here makes you feel pretty special!

That's it's designed and planned and decorated to within an inch of its life and is chock full of hella cool shops and eateries and all the things that get your little urban commando hearts beating faster then your average hipster. Well head down the escalators, ya big ol' fashionista, because there's another surprise for ya: on the below-ground level and there you'll find a concept store called 100 Squared that gets a whole bunch of amazing, emerging local fashion designers and collects them all in one place for your shopping pleasure. It's like the king of all pop-ups, curated for style and quality. And the best bit? Instead of focusing on brand names, this is basically a marketplace/bazaar for independent designers who want another channel to showcase their products. I'm not a fashion designer myself, but I'm also a designer - just from a more digital perspective. I can relate to the "not work for the man" part so I like this place a lot because it gives another outlet for independents or small businesses to hustle their wares. So 5 stars for this place because it supports small business / independents. Anyway, there are clothes (women's fashion), and jewelry. But beware that the clothing sizes are more designed for "hipster" sizes. (i.e. if you're beyond say a size 10 or Medium - result of having a vegan or soy milk diet, then theres probably nothing for you here other than jewelry). You - or as is my habit, I - pop in at moment's notice before or after coffee and brunch at Woollahra (this is very convenient since the store is ((again)) very conveniently located on Queen St in between all the cafes and general brunch spots) and see what's around. There's JuicyBear clothing (not juicy, but comfy tops and tees) of which I have one from here, and other designer-y stuff from Theresa Rawsthorne and Gary Bigeni among a few others. There's also undergarments (not much and designer-kind again), jewelry and heels. A women's dream, yes, but you won't always find something at Ruby&Min. Which is why you need to intermittently pop-in. Another reason to do so is because bargains exist here. There are two changing rooms at the back (with mirrors!) and the ladies working here are genuinely really nice and genuinely really helpful.

He was the most helpful man and even though he didn't see it in the shop he was going to contact the worker who was there the day before and call me back (all of this not even knowing if I left it in his store or not). I eventually found my camera and contacted the store manager thanking him for his efforts. The store itself is situated in the courtyard where patrons of Bills are dining. A sister store to there location in Potts Point, this store is much more compact, but has a great variety of beautiful items. I've purchased a couple of gifts here and there unique selection of items and beautiful gift wrapping make it such a great place to get one of a kind item gifts. The last time I was there I was looking at a selection of beautiful designed silk scarves. The store manager pulled out a number of designs for me to see and we had some fun trying different styles and colours. There is always such a great vibe about this store and the staff is helpful without being pushy or salesman-like. If you are on the look out for a sophisticated and unique gift for someone or just want to find something to pamper yourself, Becker Minty is a great place to look.
