There aren't so many times I can say this IS my first rodeo, but 2200 mile car transfer was one of…read morethem. My sister in law referred them to me after her family used them 3x in the past month. I was in contact with Chris since early July when I was inquiring on getting my sons car shipped to him at an Army base in GA. He told me to give him 2 days notice and the car would arrive in 3-4 days. I was flying in last week and wanted the car delivered to me at my Airbnb. I contacted him on a Friday asking if we could get it there the following Thursday. He told me he'd have it picked up from me on Monday and sent over a contract and list of things I needed to do to prep the vehicle for transfer. I picked my sons car up from my Moms house where we'd been housing it the past several months and got it washed/cleaned, photo/video graphed, empty tank etc. and had it ready at my place for a Monday pick up. Monday into Tuesday is when I realized how the car transportation business operates. It was not picked up on Monday, and would not be delivered on Thursday as stated on our contract. I began to grow anxious since I really wanted to handle this for my son. I called around to a few other car transport services and got the full run down from other companies of how these brokers basically post the transfer on a board and the bidding and so on begins. They typically need to have about 9 cars to transfer between you and the last across the country. Your pick up and drop off are NOT actual real dates. This was very helpful to understand. If this is your first time shipping and you're anything like me, you will want to understand this from the jump. I had to move the car back to my Moms house Tuesday and my parents ended up having to meet the driver in a nearby city on Wednesday since I had a plane to catch. My sons car obviously didn't arrive on Thursday, but it did arrive Monday at 1140P before my Tuesday afternoon flight home. We had to meet the driver at another location in the city to pick it up. All things to keep in mind, if by chance you are moving to a city without a car and may need to uber/taxi to a pick up. I had a rental car and my son with me to drive his back but if you're solo and relocating be aware our service ended up not being door to door, rather drop off to pick up (in a nearby area). Their prices were the most competitive and for that I am grateful. In the end, after my initial bouts of stress over the entire ordeal the service was provided in the fashion that these things are performed. If you go in open minded with the understanding that the dates are completely up in the air, you'll do great! If you go in how I did, my word, a date, a time is set in stone. It's absolutely NOT. A very foreign way of operating for someone as Type A as me. I was ready to drive the damn car across the country on Tuesday myself to ensure the job was done as I'd wanted. I'd recommend this company, but go in with a high level of patience (something I don't have). Our driver Nick was extremely responsive any time I sent a message to him (didn't send many but did contact him a couple times with some questions about who to address the certified check to, drop off time etc.). When we arrived to pick up the car, he had it completely unloaded and ready for us. I know my son is over the moon excited and happy to have his vehicle back after 5 months. I did ask ahead of time if I could pack some items in the vehicle and Chris told me 100-150lbs. I was able to send some of his clothes/shoes etc. which worked out swimmingly. I handed Nick the certified check in the amount on our contract from Chris and there was absolutely zero run around about any of it. Very smooth final transaction. Extremely grateful to Chris and Nick for getting my sons car to us before my flight home from GA.

When I got to the pickup location which was a 2 hour drive, I was told they was no loading assistance. I called the broker he said hold on but really just hung up on me. Next thing I know is I received an email stating the contract was terminated. I have tried to call several times and it just goes to voicemail. I requested a truck order not used to be filled out so I can be compensated for my time and effort. Still have not heard back from Marky Richmond

After getting a call I'm OH saying to meet the driver to pick up the car, when I was promised address to address pickup/delivery, I went to meet the driver. Once there the driver harassed me because I was paying with a money order from USPS. Prior to even placing my order, the company informed me that only cash or money order are the accepted payment methods. The driver continued to harass me saying it's a fake & I needed to go to a bank to get cash (at 8pm). I had to continue to argue with the driver saying I don't have cash because I already got the money order for this delivery. After finally contacting his boss, the driver took my money order & left. I used this company to deliver my car for peace of mind, but all I got was constant stress. I will never be using, nor recommending this company again. The actual transport company was EZH, Inc. & the company that set me up with EZH, inc. was Direct Express Auto

The car was delivered so filthy I couldn't discern damages. The driver rushed me through the process, asked me to sign only saying I'd received the vehicle, never did a walk around with me or asked me to ascertain damages. After I had it washed, I saw numerous deep scratches and dents that had not been there before. I called Inter-City who referred me to EZH's insurance carrier. They sent out an adjustor who verified over $1000 worth of damages (and that was conservative). Then EZH SWITCHED INSURANCE COMPANIES. The new insurance company denied my claim and won't return calls. I called EZH directly, they asked me to provide proof and a paper trail. I sent them copies of all correspondence, photos and a copy of THEIR APPRAISER'S REPORT. No reply. I contacted them TWO MORE TIMES. They again requested all of the above, which I supplied. Then no reply. I've sent them numerous emails and a demand letter to which I've had zero reply. Do not let it happen to you!
