They definitely tell you what is wrong before they fix it and get your permission prior to fixing it.. As a woman when you find a garage where they treat with you respect, speak to you as an equal, tell you all the facts then let you call the shots is invaluable. I will definitely continue to do business with them. I live in State College believe me when I say it is worth the trip!!! Thank you so much for taking amazing care of my baby!!

I really wanted to like this shop, but I can't recommend them. I took my 77 Ford F250 to them to…read moretalk about having the body overhauled. It's a work truck, but I've owned it for a long time and I know the mechanicals are in good shape. I made it clear, repeatedly that I wasn't interested in a show truck, my top priority was to have the body and interior solid, inspectable, and free of rust. I received a cautious estimate of two months to do the work and $12000 to $15000. That seemed fair. After about 6 months and several significant partial payments, I finally received a call and was told work was done and the total bill was $21000! I get it that work can exceed estimates, but running that far over without notifying me was completely unprofessional. The bill was negotiated down to $19000. I sucked it up and paid, I already had significant money invested and overall, the work I had seen in progress looked good, although a number of issues we had discussed had not been addressed. I wasn't happy, but it was over. I passed on writing a review, I kind of figured if I'd stayed more on top of them, the situation might not have gotten so out of hand. Right... I had to repair the front emergency cable today, (nothing to do with Muncy Rest. Works.), but to do so I had to pull up the floor mats for access. I found the drivers side floorboard is badly rusted. I can see the road through the cab floor! THEY COULD NOT HAVE CHECKED UNDER THEM, ONE OF THE MOST LIKELY PLACES FOR RUST! Even the most half-butted shade tree mechanic knows that this is a common place for rust issues! This was exactly the kind of issue I paid them to take care of. I'm not disappointed, I'm angry! Before I'd have said I wouldn't recommend them, now I'll actively warn people away from Muncy Restoration Works. I would grade them with a D. In my opinion they are unprofessional, and at best not thorough or careful, showing either incompetent or dishonesty. They do seem to be able to do pretty good quality filler and paint work, but I will never recommend them. If you take a car to them, you should probably plan on having to be in constant contact and regularly inspect the work as it progresses. Who wants to deal with an operation like that?

Cartopia Detailing / 365 Auto on W Fourth St in williamsport…read morePA, is easily the most dangerous, incompetent, and unprofessional shop I have ever dealt with in my life. This isn't just bad service. This is straight up mechanical negligence and zero regard for customer safety. The "mechanic" here clearly has no idea what he's doing. Basic installations that any competent tech should handle without issue were completely butchered. He destroyed parts of my vehicle by installing the rear sway bar links incorrectly and literally hammering on the surface of my rotors instead of using the proper tools like someone who actually knows what they're doing. I've now had two separate mechanics look at the car and both confirmed the same thing. The vehicle was dangerously unsafe to drive after leaving this shop. Instead of taking responsibility like a professional, he blames the aftermarket parts that he personally approved or starts attacking customers for "Googling things" when called out. The environment at this place is just as bad as the work they do. * Substance use. The main mechanic has been seen getting high while working on vehicles. Think about that for a second. The person responsible for the safety of your car is impaired while doing the work. * Drama and vandalism. The shop is surrounded by constant drama and chaos. There have even been situations where people's cars were getting slashed because of the personal problems the staff drags into the business. If you care about your vehicle or your safety do yourself a favor and stay far away from this place. There are plenty of honest shops out there. This is not one of them.

Save your money and go literally anywhere else. This place is a total rip-off. Not only are the…read moreprices astronomical, but the quality of work is amateur at best. The head mechanic clearly has no idea what he's doing--it's honestly shocking he's in a leadership position. I left feeling scammed and my car looks worse for wear. I will never be back.

Took my 2010 BMW into this dealers service department for a open recall on the airbag. They…read moreinformed there was also second recall in the vehicle, and the car would need at least a three hour service appointment because the valve cover ( top of the engine ) would need to be removed and new gaskets would be used. Okay cool.... That day 15 minutes before they closed I get a text telling me the car has a major vacuum leak, and if they were to fix it it would cost me over $1700. I informed them that the car ran perfect, so it must have been something they did. I requested to speak to the service manager. I was told he would get back to me. I had to call him Monday morning and I was informed even though my car wasn't broken when dropped off, it miraculously sprouted a vacuum leak and it was my problem. He then chuckled that the car was a 2010, and talked down to me like I didn't know what I was talking about. And hung up on me. Turns out they didn't remove the valve cover and shouldn't have been anywhere near the alleged vacuum leak. So went to pick up the car, start it. The idle is all over the place, bucks and chugs the whole way out of the parking lot, and service engine light is on. I go back inside and request to speak to the general manager. Service manager is reluctant and tells me it's pointless because the general manager will tell me the same thing. The GM listens to me, I informed him the car was 100% when dropped off now it won't hardly run. This clown tells me that it must be a coincidence that it broke and tells me he has too much other work and doesn't have time to deal with me. But offers to call me a tow truck, or I can pay them to diagnose my car that they broke!!! So I eventually got the car home service light still on. Stay far away from these arrogant clueless clowns, that more than willing to tell you how many years of experience they have at 30 years old!!!

When I…read moreended up needing a car last minute they sold me one I was not looking for with many defects I found out about after the fact. The odometer is completely digital and will periodically not display when in use. This is one of the many issues the car has and if you believe it, they could care less once you sign that dotted line. To top it off the finance manager is a complete tool with no redeeming aspects to them. Treating every no I offered as a chance to sell me on something else I didn't need and ended up not helping me in the end. (Shocker right?) If you are looking for a bmw don't go here. Service is awful, selection is worse, and they'll do whatever they can to scam you with a smile on their face. There is a location not far from them that actually gets back to you and has a better selection. Hopefully they close soon because no one is ever on the lot looking at the 5 cars they have for sale and they are way over staffed.
