Not only did my washing…read moremachine break within a couple of weeks of moving in, but the building wide fire alarm has gone off 3 times in the middle of the right in the last two weeks. On top of this, construction is taking place outside my window on the road leading to the apartment building. Nothing says welcome home like a jackhammer going on at 9:00 at night. When they have resident events, they are so early that I don't understand how they expect anyone to show up in time from leaving work. And when I do arrive, all the food is gone. The amenities were very good --both kitchen and laundry. The staff were very friendly and there was a wonderful mix of people living there. We did have some issues. From the beginning the bedroom window leaked badly in a Southeast wind. It took nearly three years to fix it. The elevator at the ocean end of building two was very irregular--sometimes it worked and others you had to walk the entire length of the building to use the other one. There also were times when you could not get out of the lobby into the garage due to some poorly designed security locks. But not to worry. They disconnected all the locks so the last year there was no security from the garage into the elevator. Some alternative system was installed, but never was hooked up. This wasn't too bad until the wind blew open the outside door from the garage, breaking the retaining spring (a common hardware store item) sufficiently that the door couldn't even be closed manually. So for the last six months we lived there, there was no lock of any kind preventing entry to the garage, the small lobby or the elevator to any of the resident floors~! Our second parking space was in the main building (number one). Again it was impossible to open the (fire?) door leaving the car and garage. It was supposed to have you use a key fob to get out! finally that was disconnected. You used a key fob to gain access to the garage. But that wasn't foolproof either. My car was stolen from the supposedly locked garage twice! (Fortunately the police returned it to me without damage both times.) The site managers are very nice, but they don't seem to have any authority fix anything basic like security! Oh, finally there are all of six guest parking spaces for this big development--hardly enough for 6-700 apartments, and many of the spaces in the garage marked Handicapped are assigned to tenants who have no handicap preventing those who need them from using them. Ignoring all my list of woes, they still insisted on docking me for a month's rent at the end of our lease despite the fact that they certainly hadn't provided many of the basic items one would expect for three years' tenancy. The building is about 2 blocks from a 3 mile long, beautiful beach. The building is cat-friendly (but no dogs are allowed). There is a underused park with tennis courts, basketball court, baseball field, and playground exercise devises within a 5 minute walk. Reasonably priced.

All the residents are very friendly, along with management. You have to be above 55 to live here, which provides a calming environment for the senior residents. There are 7 floors full of gossip, friendship, and most of all love! And if you go on the roof you can capture a beautiful view of the beach on a clear Summer night! This is the place where you want to retire! My grandfather is COMPLETELY happy and has made lifelong friendships here, and they all carpool to the casino together!

She was quick and efficient with the whole process and in less than a month our wait quickly came to a holt and we moved in the next month. The staff is quick and efficient when it comes to resolving any maintaance issues around the house as well and getting back to you on the word order status. Because I was moving from out-of-state, I started my search for an apartment all along the north shore in early September. The Beach House was by far the best place I looked at. From my first tour in September to my move-in in late December, Nicole and Dazayia kept in touch and responded to every question that I had making my moving process easier than I ever anticipated. Since my move-in (late December) every encounter I have had with the staff (leasing, management, maintenance) has been friendly and respectful.

There is blatant disregard for residents: emails are ignored, help is nonexistent, and the office staff is outright aggressivem, rude and in some cases frightening. I researched places nearby and came across this lovely spot. Jessie (leasing agent) and Susan (manager) were life savers! They both went above and beyond to get me into a beautiful space. I can not thank them enough for the genuine hospitality I received. I felt so welcome since day one! It is very hard to find a good management team - let alone , a fabulous one - and this place nailed it for sure! The place is pet friendly- but you would never know. It always smells fresh and clean. The common areas are always well designed, pristine and very comfortable. When you walk in the building you get a great , chill vibe as well. The amenities are top notch! I am excited to spend time by the pool, hang out in the cool common lounge spaces, and enjoy the amazing beach views! Thank you to Jessie and Susan for a lovely new place to call home
