The wine was recommended by the waiter very boring and flat taste. However the only one waiter was working so hard since he caring 10-15 tables at the same hour with all huge orders, which I feel for him. The owner was watching and walking around asking if we were ok but we see no interest of him caring the customers. We were waiting for the drink menu which takes so long like 20 mins. I would not recommend anyone to try ever once.

I had already walked by this place a few times wanting to try it and as the boyfriend and I were celebrating our anniversary, I felt like now was the time to do so. We are both so glad we did! The food was amazing. So delicious, nice and spicy and with some Indian influences. The batatas bravas have a wonderful sauce that tastes a bit like a creamy curry. The ribs were nice and sweet, as was the spinach and raisin empanada. Portions are generous, like the plate full of manchego chunks. I love the fact that they give you whole grain bread and not white. And we both loved the spicyness in the batatas bravas and the boyfriend's chicken. I am officially addicted to the beer battered cauliflower florets! For dessert we ordered chocolate cake and crema Catalana. The cake wasn't very special, but we liked the fact that the chocolate drizzle was not from a bottle, but some ganache that they made. The crema Catalana however was super delicious! And everything was made by the chefs, no ready made nonsense whatsoever, all fresh and delicious dishes. So to sum this place up in one word: love!

We sat at the bar where we had a front row seat to the action in the kitchen. The place was hopping - nearly every table was taken - and the space was very well lit. You have a choice between picking 4, 5, or the 6 course tasting menu. We selected the five-course menu - nothing written (maybe because they knew we weren't Dutch), but all explained verbally and full of surprises. The creme brûlée inside a large marrow bone was a showstopper. The other dishes leaned in on seasonal ingredients and the meats were succulent. Overall, a very special dinner, and well worth it.

Did not get the palette excited. First course was a carrot and nori terrine with a dill mousse and tarragon sorbet which was very tasty. Second course was a mishmash of things that did not all go together. A quail and redfish roll with seafood foam and ratatouille and a small roasted quail leg. Their course (main course) was so lackluster. A very small lamb sausage, a one inch piece of grilled octopus, and a very small poached fish cake wrapped in squash. The sauce was a tasteless black squid ink sauce and a very yummy basque inspired tomato coulis. Desert was a complete miss. A beignet stuffed with a very small amount of plum jam topped with a foie gras purée with matcha tea sorbet and "fig leaf snow" that had no taste. The whole thing was so overwhelmed by the foie gras mouse that it was all you tasted. The wait service was great. Good recommendations for wine by the glass. The food service out of the kitchen was less than stellar. We waited a full hour between the second and third course. As did many other around us. Not sure what was going on in the kitchen but there was no rhythm to the meal. Definitely not worth the hype.
