The drink menu is interesting, based on the concept of growing up, with more basic tastes to start and more mature complex tastes later on in life. Mine was sweet and coffee flavored and his was more tart and sour cherry flavored. When I tried his drink, I immediately felt nostalgic because it reminded me of umeboshi (pickled plum in Japanese food), so we ended up trading drinks. Both were great for supping. (This wasn't my choice and I didn't know of any options, being a visitor. So yes, they pulled a vegetarian into a meat house. I suppose if they ever visit the States, I'll make them eat brussel sprouts lol.) Other than the Catch of the Day option, there was the risotto on the menu. When they found out that it was my birthday (I guess it was a given due to loud singing), our beautiful server gave me a gift of their award winning house gin and a bottle of tonic. The wait staff is efficient and friendly....for European standards. We walked in and grabbed a high top and was served almost instantly. We ordered the Salmon toast, the Goulash with spring rolls with a couple Brands. The toast was a little hard to cut but overall the Salmon was great and full of taste. Food was superb! The Goulash was exactly what you expect; beef, potatoes, tomatoes, and paprika. So yummy! Sided with brown bread and a side of veggie spring rolls. Lunch was a hit! They gave my dog water, they made cocktails even though they didn't really serve cocktails and one even gave my friend a cigarette when she was looking to buy and couldn't find! Drinks were tasty and reasonably priced. Toilet free of charge for customers and were fresh (but then again, we were almost alone there so it really should be fresh ;)).
