I was torn between the coconut cream pie and a slice of key lime, but the coconut cream won this round. It was creamy, flavorful, and absolutely delicious! One of my nephews is gluten-free, so I was happy to see quite a few gluten-free options available! The shop itself was bright, clean, and inviting. If you love being the only one in line and still waiting 20 minutes for two 75% melted blizzards that are not going to be correct....well then this is the place for you! For some god awful reason we keep putting our trust in this DQ hoping that the last time was just a one off mess up. This was our third time to this location for a blizzard. Even as I warned my boyfriend on the way there that the last two experiences we had there either left us with melted blizzards or the wrong orders, he still wanted to give them a chance. Such optimism! Well that optimism was quickly shot down like a Chinese weather balloon because we waited for 20 minutes for one French Silk Blizzard and one Oreo Fudge blizzard which actually turned out to be an Oreo Fudge Blizzard and then a half-empty mini cup of melted vanilla mess with unknown orange specks, pecan pieces, and zero flavor??? I didn't know I ordered the Limited Edition Great Depression Blizzard. Anyways I'm certainly hoping this is the last time I will ever visit that location. The child safety locks were on in my boyfriend's car otherwise I likely would have tuck and rolled into the gutters at 45mph before having to endure that again. Also just a heads up, no one is wearing gloves.
