Went in to buy a 2-pack Jamoca Almond Fudge Quart size so I can make my own bday dessert for hubs. Their Nut Fudge cakes are $52 so I decided to buy the main component which is the yummy long-time fav flavor of ours. I was able to buy the ice cream & make Ghirardelli Chocolate Supreme Brownies & serve it side by side which was bday boy's request. It was my deconstructed version of the cake but we controlled the portion sizes of each, LOL!! Turned out great! While at the shop I tried the Butter Pecan & Seasonal Biscoff ice cream & boy was that BIscoff ice cream so yummy!! I might have to buy a scoop the next time I'm there!! Ordered online was convenient so I could pick it up when ready. There are ready-pack ice cream quarts & frozen cakes available in the freezer. Good deals available as rewards members too! read more

Got a milkshake from here and it was literally so bad it just tasted like straight up milk I tried to get it remade but they wouldn't do it even though I still had the recipe and the cup. I never complain but this irritated me so bad. read more

My fiance and I had some time to spare, and she was hungry, so we stopped here. I did not have any issues finding parking nearby. There was only two people in line before us, and they seemed to be taken care of quickly. My fiance ordered a cone. I ordered two scoop sundae that included a scoop cherries jubilee and a scoop of peanut butter cup. Both of our orders were delicious, but I couldn't think of a time when I had bad ice cream. The staff was very nice. They have a couple of tables outside, which might have been nice if it didn't feel like the Chronicles of Riddick scene where they were trying to outrun the sun The toilet in the Women's Restoom was not flushing when we went. My fiance did tell a worker, and it looked like they were heading check on the issue when we were leaving. A toilet is not flushing is not great, but them responding right away is appreciated. read more

Baskin-Robbins - Ghost pepper ice cream in a sugar cone - Ice Cream & Frozen Yogurt Near Me - San Antonio, Texas

High quality ice cream every time! We went inside. Friendly staff. Even got a military discount.

Always love the consistency of ice cream here especially pralines and cream. Disappointed that

This place is good. The worker I believe his name was Anthony. He is funny, witty, and he always has a smile on his face. He served me a 2 scoop ice cream. This place is a must come if you live near by. The worker is so polite. I came at 8:00 pm 3/7. read more

I appears I'm not the only person totally flabbergasted that this BR doesn't abode by their posted business hours. We went 10 minutes before closing on a Friday; there were three people just standing by the register. When we pulled up one employee rolled his eyes so far into his head he probably has useful visual data for brain researchers. I tried to open the door, pretty much expecting to be let down and yup, it was locked. My and my kids turned for the car, one of the employees opened the door and asked if I was paying with cash. Tell me you're closed, apologize for the inconvenience, tell me your system's down, anything remotely courteous and I'll understand. But he didn't do anything to overcome that epic eye roll, so we bounced. If expecting to be greeted politely makes me a Karen, so be it. read more

My family and I have been coming to this baskin robbins for a long time and the customer service as always been on point! Service with a smile is always a plus. I've cream is very good and the scoops are very big. I would recommend cleaning the restrooms, possibly remodeling them. They are very old and look very dirty. read more

This is the kind of review where I wish we had an option for zero stars! Every year we order a birthday cake here. We order a birthday cake this month to be ready on Sunday the 17th. My husband went to pick up the cake and he was told they didn't make it because the decorator person didn't come in. They had our number they didn't call us to tell us the day before or the night before that it wasn't ready?? So we're just shit out of luck?! They should have called other locations to try to transfer the order and they definitely should have called us so we would have had time to find another option! Instead the morning of the birthday we are left with NO option but to buy one of the cakes that has been sitting in their case for a few weeks. I had already pre-paid and they did NOT give me a refund. They let my husband get a cake for the case that tasted stale and like shit. Just a plain white cake with no theme or writing or anything. Complete udder bullshit. So unprofessional! I will not be coming back here ever! read more

Really appreciated the service tonight by Nick! It was one of those days where everything was a little "off", so I thought ice cream might help....at least it couldn't hurt. As soon as I walked in, though, my attitude changed. There is something magical about having your favorite (but rarely available) ice cream in the store, and Nick understood that. I almost feel like he celebrated my joy when my attitude lifted. That's not just customer service, that's humanity. I needed that shot of validation, and now, I also have my favorite ice cream. That sounds like a win/win, and who doesn't love those? read more

This was a great place to have a treat with my family. The service was excellent and there were loads of options to choose from.

No idea why so many Karen's slam this place. The kids working here are always super friendly. It's very clean and this location is far superior to the one on Bulverde Road that shares the space with Dunkin. The ice cream here is great. I always get chocolate peanut butter because the chunks of peanut butter are VERY generous and it's so delicious. Stop hating on this place. It's an ICE CREAM STORE. read more

Super friendly kids and quick to assist! Even right before closing. The 1 stars seem a little false and too Karenish

Dont go by their store hours we walked in seven minutes till closing and they said sorry we are closed. I don't know what's the point of having store hours when you don't go by it. I worked all day on Christmas. My daughter and I just wanted to do something fun after my long days of work. Now we are sad. read more

Baskin-Robbins - Strawberry - Ice Cream & Frozen Yogurt Near Me - San Antonio, Texas

Pretty disappointing. The one scoop Sunday looks like it is made for kids, the warm desserts use stale old semi-warm cookies, and nothing comes close to looking like the picture. Up your size, care about flavor, and think fresh and delicious thoughts and maybe you can bump up your stars. I will say it is very clean inside, so impressed with that. read more

I ordered a cake for my daughter's birthday. My sister in law went to pick it up and my daughter's name was misspelled. The girl at the counter seemed confused why I wouldn't accept the cake. She said it would be corrected and would be ready after 11am the next day. My husband went to get it and as soon as I said the order name, the girl behind the counter ran to the back room as if to hide. The cake HAD NOT been fixed. A young man offered to fix it. We were so disappointed and do not recommend this location. Customer service was awful. read more

This is the third time we have been to the Hardy Oak location. The staff is super nice. However. the company itself does not advertise what it sells. It has been out of the ice cream we order twice and today, their website represents that it has cookie sandwiches. However, we were told at the window that they are discontinued. read more

Baskin-Robbins - a family night sign - Ice Cream & Frozen Yogurt Near Me - San Antonio, Texas

Hello! Me and my boyfriend really wanted a dessert so we decided to go to our favorite Baskin Robins. So we mapped it and saw that we would arrive at 8:45 so we go to the door and it's closed. And the young lady came out and said she "just finished closing up". I understand we all been there when we want to leave early however you don't just close down early and refuse service when the hours are still open especially a chain where consistency is key. I never usually leave reviews however this really ruined our night read more

See the problem with these establishments hiring 15/16 year-olds is that they do not have proper supervision. I just watched a younger employee sneeze in her hands, wipe the saliva from her face and then serve the next customer with the same hands with no gloves or any type of sanitation. This is how germs never stop spreading. Won't be back. On top of it, these kids have no manners. read more

My husband and i came for ice cream 35mins before they closed and would not serve us. They said that they changed there hours and closed early. Nothing beats their German Chocolate Cake ice cream, it's my favorite.

The young man and woman were super helpful and gave great recommendations! Loved the selection and the samples, I wasn't disappointed in any of the products. The older woman with the butch haircut was extremely rude to me and my child. She refused to give my child samples claiming that she shouldn't be eating anything else due to her weight. She also claimed my child was unruly and started insulting my parenting skills. My child is autistic. I take great offense to remarks made like that, what's worse is that she then assumed my daughter was a boy because my daughter was wearing a hospital gown and her hair had fallen out due to her chemotherapy treatments. I then inquired about purchasing a franchise and the older woman stared me dead in the eye and said, "fuck you, you could never run a business". I am severely displeased with her attitude. The older woman also needs to invest in a razor business her arm hair kept touching the ice cream. I will gladly donate a dollar towards her cause and will be setting up a gofundme account for this terrible woman. Any time my child would ask a question about the ice cream, the woman would say, "fuck you, you fat fuck" to my child. The most horrifying part of this experience is when she started to brag about how much of a lesbian she is compared to the young woman, claiming that since the young woman didn't bring a boy to the store, that she was a lesbian. I am appalled and will be filling a civil complaint against Baskin Robbins. But good job the only two non terrible workers! read more

This was the worst experience at a restaurant I have ever had. I drive up to this location at 9:30 pm tonight expecting to get some ice cream for my family. As I park I noticed that the chairs are up like they have just finished mopping the floor. And this is nothing new I have gone there with my family around the same time and seen the chairs up. And also note the location posted closing time is 10 pm. As I approach the door I see a young lady look at me turn around and walk to the back of the store and then the main lights turn off, surprised I look at my watch as I walk up to the door and it's 9:30 pm, so I try the door and it opens. I look up and even though the main lights are off the "open" sign is still lit, so I walk in. When I walked in I said "Hello are you still open?" Loud enough for her to hear me since she saw me looking at her walking to the back. No answer. I say hello again. No answer. Obviously she was not going to come back out, I would have expected any decent person to come out and say "Sorry, didn't see you but we are closed" or any other lame excuse for turning the lights off on me and walking away. But that did not happen, I checked my watch one more time and it was about 9:35. I walked back out and took a picture of the store with the main lights out and the " open " sign on. Extremely disappointed at the person and Baskin Robins if this is an acceptable way of doing business. No matter how much I love their peanut butter and chocolate I am definitely not going back to that store and will think twice before doing business with Baskin Robins again. read more

I frequent many other locations of BR in various cities. I will NEVER return to this location. I ordered a menu item and asked for a different flavor ice cream to be told I cannot substitute. Excuse me? This is ridiculous! I didn't ask for prime rib instead of a hamburger patty. I asked for chocolate instead of vanilla. You offer 31 flavors, but you get to pick mine? I went to this place to try something new, it was our first time here, the employees there seemed that they did not want they were doing. I asked for a product, sundae shake, on the menu and they did not know how to make it. So I decided to ask for something else since they didn't know how to make this product. Then when I asked for the ice cream to go she packaged all wrong and forgot to put the cookies that I ordered. Also she forgot to put utensils in for ice cream. Overall bad customer service, the ice cream was good, but I'm not returning to this place due to the bad customer service read more
