I love Baskin Robbins ice cream. Their Pralines and Pecans is the best flavor they have in my opinion. It is only one other company that makes a better one. My husband was in the hospital and wanted some ice cream so I went to this particular Baskin Robbins. The store was clean and the ice cream area was clean as well. We're big on Roxy's, but sometimes you need to branch out and try something new. Now that our daughter is old enough to ask to go for ice cream, we have been trying to get out to different places. We took the lake road over to visit the Baskin Robbins by the old teahouse recently. The staff was really sweet with our girlie, and I was pleased to find they had a few frozen yogurt options. I had vanilla fro yo, JJ had a cookie dough thing (but had to add sprinkles, naturally), and K had a delicious chocolate option. Our little girl was more interested in the novelty that is the water fountain than anything else, but overall a clean and tidy little shop with many options. I think you can usually tell if management takes good care of their staff when the staff is this sweet to guests and kids. I have to go five stars on this one! read more

I hadn't been into a Baskin-Robbins store in YEARS, but my husband of twenty-three years decided today that we needed to stop into the one up on May, just south of Grand. I'm glad he decided to stop in, because, well, we both had good ice cream, good service, and a good time all around. The venue was clean and well lighted, and the staff was friendly and helpful. I sampled the Lemon Custard, but ended up going with a scoop of Chocolate Fudge (dark, rich chocolate) and a scoop of Cherries Jubilee (absolutely delicious). read more

So glad we stopped in! I read online that they had dairy free ice cream made from coconut and almond milk. Well.. this location definitely did not have that but they did had daiquiri ice which was sweet and tarty. It was not bad, but I definitely miss the milky and creamy texture and flavor of the "cream" in "ice cream." The gentleman who helped us couldn't be more helpful! He was very nice and understanding about my dairy and egg free allergy and made sure to ask and read the boxes of the waffle cones to make sure they are indeed safe. FYI, the small waffle cone and the round cones are safe! The big giant waffle cone has milk and eggs product in them! I will definitely come back to eat here for the wonderful customer service. They had so many delicious seasonal flavors! It's been forever since I've eaten at Baskin Robbins and I think we will start to eat here a lot more to experience the newer and more wonderful flavors. BR and I go waaaay back (like over 3 decades way back) and their peanut butter & chocolate is still my absolute favorite ice cream. Remember when all of the BRs shut down and there was only a couple left in the state - Fond memory: my dad and I would hop in the minivan and take a couple hour road trip to get a couple quarts of our favorite flavors. Thankfully, they came back to the city. I love BR and the establishment on May is more often than not, exactly what you want in an ice cream shop - Clean, efficient, and friendly service - Like the kind of service that when you order a pint of PB&Choc and you mention you REALLY like the peanut butter, they totally hook you up! My favorite flavor is Baseball Nut. BR has the most rich tasting ice cream. Other ice cream places use more milk in their recipes. BR = Flavor. Love that they give you samples. I took away one star because when I went there the two teenage employees were in the back room and failed to realize that a customer was waiting. I always love coming here. I live in Norman so I wish it wasn't so far away, but we always manage to visit on someone's birthday! I love the coffee flavored ice cream! I also got a very very watery milkshake and when I asked her if she could make it thicker she said "that's how they're supposed to be" and she made us pay $3 to make it thicker read more
