Fast forward to late September and we're out running errands after dinner and my husband and I decided to go back to the place we found our first week here. It's been over two months and the slab is STILL not fixed. Now they have plastic motel cups for your ice cream and my dark chocolate tasted freezer burned and the topping weren't layered just sprinkled on top. Hubby got his favorite chocolate peanut butter and said it was meh. And we were craving ice cream. So disappointed. I guess we'll be faithful Main Street Mercantile Creamery peeps now.

My daughter got the pulled pork sandwich, and my wife and I got one of their smoked hamburgers. We also got a whole smoked chicken for meals later this week. Each item was $10 and the sandwiches came with baked beans and chips. Holy smoked meat goodness Batman! Everything was delicious. We'll be back!

My husband, who usually gives me his tomatoes because he doesn't like them, actually ate his! The onion didn't come out of the breading like so many onion rings unfortunately do. The other nice thing we noticed is that the tipping portion was your choice of either $3, $6, or $9...none of that 15%, 20%, 25%, etc that we see so often. This made it a lot easier and less stressful. Overall, this is going to be our new "fast food" location now that I've sworn off of fast food chains, especially because you can order from your car at one of the stalls!
