So I called around and spoke to Chris on the phone he asked for us to bring it to him in CO. We did and he explained that it was indeed the radio. The owner has his 80 year old mother working the front, which is a catastrophe! She has no idea what she is doing. I went there for oil leaks in my engine, she billed me for a timing belt replacement when there was nothing wrong with my timing belt, and for a new waterpump, when there was nothing wrong with my waterpump. I was charged more that $500 above the estimate that I was given. Ever since the work they did, my drive belt has been squealing like a cyclone! I can't get back in to Maxwell Auto to get the belt tightened because the owner/mechanic is never there. They don't even pick up the phone when I call. Now I'll have to go to the trouble of suing Maxwell Automotive in small claims court. Try America's Tire and Auto in Cortez, instead.

Ryan at the KOA in Cortez gave me this card when I asked whether he knew of any RV services in the…read morearea. I called them, and left a message, and Mrs. Ellie called me back a short time later. I explained that my diesel generator wouldn't work and that I had problems with my automatic steps, antennae dish and some sockets on the dash didn't work right. She said that they generally don't work on generators but that they likely could help me with the other things. I worked with her to set up an appointment the following afternoon. Mrs. Ellie called and asked whether Craig & Todd could come earlier and I said, "Sure!" They were there 10 minutes later! I explained that I thought the problem with the generator was that it wasn't getting any control voltage and that the generator engine was likely fine. They helped me trace the voltage from the batteries, to the generator, and then within the generator to the control panel. Long story short - they pretty much ended up taking off the front of my RV so we could get inside the generator to the place where some electrical relays had flaky contacts. Todd fixed them and then we put the whole thing back together - I now have a functioning generator thanks all to them!!! They also straightened and fixed my bent automatic steps and the activation switch in the door. They then fixed a couple of "dashboard" electrical connections (12V ports and switches) before finishing up making sure my antennae rotator on the roof was unobstructed. All in all, I give them an 18 on a 5-point scale! They were personable and friendly from the start with the phone call with Ellie. I came to know that they have owned an RV park in the past and now enjoy helping others get things fixed. They will come to where you are and do their best to help you get things done. All I can say is that they didn't normally work on generators but they sure helped me and fixed mine -- and I am so appreciative!
