The layout and selection of items were very similar to what we're used to back home in Chicago. We stopped in for a late afternoon lunch or perhaps an early dinner, but unfortunately, the meal was underwhelming. My husband ordered the ribs, which arrived overcooked and dry. I had the tortellini, which was just okay and only slightly warm. The waiter was friendly. Perhaps it was just an off day for the kitchen, but overall, the food didn't quite live up to the Eataly name we're familiar with.

I love grocery stores in foreign countries and this is more like a little neighborhood market. It doesn't have a whole lot of items, but they have everything you need. Great place to come stock up on beer and wine to take back to your hotel or on the train. Much cheaper prices since this is where the locals shop, not tourists. Also a fun place to buy local candies and sweets.

Located on the north side of Turin's Lingotto Center, a complex built out of the old FIAT factory…read morethat embraces cinemas, a shopping mall with a grand food court, an art museum, and lord knows what else, this PAM store has a great selection, especially of beer, wine and spirits, something not always readily available in Italy. It's the closest thing I've seen to an American-style supermarket in Italy, and the prices are good. And, before or after shopping, you can head up to the roof of the complex to check out FIAT's test track, which is still maintained, though no longer used, as one and offers great views of Turin and the neighborhood.
