Love Bashas! We don't have one in our area and travel a little over an hour to shop here. Although it's not a regular basis, we should go there when we're in the area.. everyone is so friendly there the staff and customers. Everything is nice and neat. The produce and meats are fresh. The deli and the bakery section looked delicious.. if corporate is reading this, it would be great if they had this market down in the Prescott Valley/Prescott area. We need more markets down here and this would be a great addition to the area. I'm sure the residence and surrounding communities from Dewey Humboldt and Chino Valley would be happy if Bashas opened to town. read more

Ok! So! They basically have $5 deals every day! We noticed this for the first time on Tuesday (it was sandwiches) and they were yummy! Wednesday was chicken pot pie and beef pot pie. The chicken pot pies were gone so we were able to get a beef and split that one and it was great! Thursday was chile relleno and something else and we did the chile relleno which came with beans and rice. Super yummy! Friday was chicken tenders or wings. Original or Nashville hot and we did original tenders. Those tenders were HUGE and tasted honemade(yes, that's a good thing). KFC, who?!?! Everyone was fantastic, except for the girl on Friday who lied for some reason and said there were no chicken tenders. Talked to a few people who live in the area and they didn't know about the $5 daily yummies and they got the tenders also. Left the area early Saturday morning, but when we come back through later on this year we will be stopping. read more

Me and my hubby went here for the holiday in order us a warm meal. The customer service is very great. Penny was nice. I would definitely go back there. Prices are higher than their sister site "Food City"in Cottonwood Their website flyer doesn't load on my home computer,or takes forever to think about loading. I only go there for emergencies or one or two items.I generally will travel to Cottonwood AZ where there is a larger section of food stores with better pricing of groceries. read more

This location in Camp Verde was very big inside. The bathrooms were generally pretty clean for a grocery store. The rest of the store seemed clean, and shelves were very well stocked. Prices are good on some items and very expensive on others. I think that's just the bashas chain, not just this tire. The product and vegetables looked really good as well. There were many people in the store, so I couldn't get photos out of respect for other shoppers. I wasn't greeted as I usually am at other stores, but I can understand as they were slightly busy today. Overall it was a good experience, and I would stop there again if I'm in the area. read more

This store reminds me of Safeway and one wonders if they have the same parent company except Bashas has enough cashiers. It's also very easy to enroll with your cell in seconds. The only fresh produce we saw was butter lettuce. They need better produce. read more

Worst Bashas I have been to. Tried to order some olives from the deli but the man did not even acknowledge customers but complained how many orders he had to do. He finished an order for an employee but left customers waiting. Reported this to manager but she just shrugged her shoulders. Obviously customer service is not a priority. Going DOWNHILL FAST! This store has completed a basic remodel which improves a shopping experience, BUT when you can't find what you want it's not worth it! "Out of stock" conditions are ridiculous. These employees are so nice but Bashas Upper Managment refuses to take notice and fix this issue. Canned goods, soda, produce, dairy are woefully OOS all the time! The clerks and managers admit that they don't know what to do! Prices are 10-30 percent higher than Walmart (12 miles away). Bashas has Camp Verde as it's own grocer and they are"milking" everyone of us with these high (I mean really high) prices. read more

This store gets an "F" for mask wearing. I would estimate at least 25% of the customers DON'T wear masks at all. I have mentioned it to the "manager" at the front desk and was told that the non mask wearers had medical reasons. (All of them?). And, that they didn't want to offend customers. What about the customers who do comply? The Walmart in Cottonwood seems to have 100% compliance. If Walmart can do it why can't Bashas? The management at Basha's needs to take the requirement of wearing masks seriously and crack down on the people not wearing masks. read more

Not long ago, I'd give this Bashas' 5 stars. It's been MY store for years. I have really enjoyed this store and the people who work there. I still think their prices are fair and better than a lot of other grocery stores, but the deli and bakery are having issues. I've also noticed that the store isn't as clean as it used to be. They seem to be having difficulty keeping workers in the deli and bakery. Seems like they are always hiring. They just don't have the bodies there to serve customers. I'm writing a review today because I bought two donuts at the bakery, and they were not completely cooked!!! First time that has happened at any store my whole life. The dough was gooey in the middle. Someone didn't know what they were doing! The only reason I even bought the donuts was because there was no one to serve what I wanted at the deli in the first place. I waited and waited and then gave up. Not the first time, either. Yes, and, the sandwiches are smaller and have less in them, and they put the meet up front with nothing in the back of the sandwich, so you think you're buying something worth the price - although - I have to say - their sandwich prices have become pretty high, and you get so much less. I stopped buying their sandwiches last year for this reason. It's not a good marketing strategy to do that. Today, the store was especially dirty - it just felt unclean - and I thought to myself - maybe I'll stop coming in. It just doesn't feel good anymore. Something is wrong. read more

Nice, local grocery chain. A little high priced and limited selections, especially of non-hispanic ethnic foods. But they are in a small town and cater to the residents there. On a negative not l note; they need to check expiration dates on dairy items more frequently. Also, produce is left out far after it's time. read more

This is one of the dirtiest stores I've ever been in. The floors are stained, and it feels dingy with weird lighting. Add that they have no mask requirement during the pandemic (and not even all employees had masks), and it really feels like a health hazard to be inside. Camp verde seriously needs another grocery store. This store feels dirty, outdated, and is always out of stock with items. Prices are way inflated too compared with other stores in the surrounding towns. If you plan on shopping here get in early like before afternoon hits, or the lettuce and produce will be wiped out. Shelves aren't fully stocked either and missing essentials and basic food items like cream cheese. This store seriously needs help and a total face lift. Although staff is friendly I dread walking into this store to make a purchase. I try to shop elsewhere if possible. read more

So we dropped by this morning on a Sunday to pick up donuts and a couple other items, got home and the donuts are RAW on the inside. I mean gooey nasty uncooked dough. I called their number to tell them to pull their donuts so no one else gets sick, the phone line is "busy." I'm so glad this place cares about their customers so much, for the only store within 20 miles you'd think they would try a little harder. read more

Basha's in Camp Verde is a beautiful, clean, well stocked supermarket with lots of fresh produce, a wide variety of fresh dairy products and meats, fresh-daily baked goods from the in-store bakery and even fresh artisan breads from La Brea bakery! There is a full deli counter, plus a sushi chef who comes in every morning to prepare a fresh assortment of sushi rolls, using sushi grade fresh fish. Very nice for quick, tasty meals on the run. The center aisle usually has a display of seasonal promotions at great prices, and the interior of the store holds a terrific inventory of packaged goods, cleaning products, frozen foods, all of the stuff you need and want to find at your local market. And if you use your Basha's card, you get additional discounts. It looks like management makes an effort to carry local products. The store is clean and well lit, and every employee I've ever spoken to has been helpful, polite and patient. This store is obviously well-managed and treats its people and customers right. It gets my highest marks! read more

I special ordered a birthday cake for my wife and the lady behind the counter offered me a variety of decorating options, including flowers, sprinkles, frosting drizzle, etc. so I asked for all of them thinking it would be fun and festive. Well, what I envisioned and what I got were two entirely different images. While I can't complain about the flavor (the cake itself was good), the decorator, on the other hand was, well, less than inspiring. she seems to have trouble writing things on top of the cake and when I said "sprinkles" I thought there would be carefully spread multi-colored candy dots on the frosting top and sides. instead, she tossed a handful of something light brown all over the cake, the lettering, the roses, everywhere, indiscriminately. Not even sure what they are. So be certain to examine your order before leaving the store with it. read more

I am sorry to say that they are NOT enforcing masks. When I was in there this morning, there were at least 10 people in the deli area without masks. A man coughed all over the counter and ATM without a mask, and they did not have wipes or spray at the counter to clean up after him. When I spoke to the manager his response was "well if people don't want to wear them" and he shrugged. That shows very little respect for their employees and customers. Very disappointing. Food city products marked up due to lack of competition. Freshness is definitely lacking. It seems like they're buying inventory from other stores and putting it on the shelf. Friendly staff, but that's how small towns are. When everyone knows everyone else, being cordial and respectful is the default disposition. Save yourself some money, get a better selection, and longer expiration dates, buy your groceries out of town. The money you save will more than cover the gas. read more

This store is AWFUL . The are always out of everything and are overpriced . I called this evening to see if they had a particular item before making the drive into town .and a women answer that seemed confused after about 6 min I was disconnected . I was in the middle of something and after about another 10 min I called again . A women named Beth answered the phone and was immediately rude off the bat . She then lectured me on how busy they were and that if "I was the lady that keeps calling I need to knock it off " I was completely confused and explained to her I didn't know what she was talking about , she then told me I should call back in 20 min. I have bought steaks from there that are saturated with that red dye crap! Very disgusting and hard to recognize. They pour the red dye on their meat and then give it a longer expiration date. Avoid the meat at Camp Verde Bashas!! Hamburger is hamburger and it is decent at Bashas; I'm mainly talking about any red meat other than hamburger. read more
