Excellent service, patience and prompt results within 24 hours. I will only use Basha for any radiology needs I may have. The only thing that could use improvement is the overall aesthetics of the building itself. It's an old, outdated building and could really use an overhaul. read more

I was scheduled for an MRI today ( 8-22-25) I had made this appointment last week sometime. At that time I gave them both of my insurance infos and the following day they called and said that I had no insurance due to my birthday that they had on file was not the right one. The next few days I spent many of hours on the phone with my insurance company, my husband's HR director, and Basha diagnostics! My insurance said everything was fine on their side, Basha was still not seeing the correct birthday. I had made numerous attempts to try to correct this but with no luck Basha was still not seeing the correct birthday! My insurance then re-entered my bday hoping to fix it. In the meantime I was not only dealing with my injury but being in the phone for hours trying to get this corrected! Thinking that the re-entry did the trick I was all ready for my MRI, 2 hours before they called and said," because we still aren't seeing your correct birthday you are not cleared for this MRI"! The woman on the phone was rude and not hearing what I had to say! She got snippy and then did I! I asked her numerous times what am I supposed to do? I'm caught between you( Basha) and my insurance company. She replied I don't know! But you need to fix this! How????? After talking over me I just told her give me the number and I'll do both of your guys jobs!! She started yelling at me and then I yelled back at her! She was rude and was unable to see that I had no control over this and I was doing my best while in pain! I will never ever tell anyone to go to this place! They ( her) need to train their people to be kind and have some empathy for us dealing between the insurance companies and the providers! I will find another MRI facility to have it done! On 5/29/25 and 6/12/25 it was only one young lady at the front desk that was pleasant all the others was unprofessional on top of that had very smart mouths they have the lights off in the offices any questions you may ask are very short and snappy especially from the young lady that wears the hijabs head wrap that's sits on the right not to mention the tech that does the MRI he's very argumentive if you'll go back and forward with him instead of listen to the patient that knows there body never again will I go there read more

This was one of the worst experiences I've ever had a a medical office. Front desk doesn't know what medications are for what and asked me in front of my son. The assistant in the back was THE worst. Mind you I was in excruciating pain and paid out of pocket for an MRI-WITH IV sedation. The front desk said I would get something to relax me before they take me back. I was given a Valium and a benedryl. I was told to take it right in front of her..? She told me to make sure I chew the Valium as it works faster and between the benedryl and that it usually works as sedation. I calmly told her I've been in horrible pain since the end of March and I specifically scheduled and paid for IV sedation as I cannot hold my arm still. The horrible tech took me back and told me to sit in a closet and to hold on. Literal closet with a chair and a locking door with the keys hanging out of them. For some people, just that is very uncomfortable situation. He tells me to get on the table. I tell him I've got to take my wrist brace off because I think there's metal in it. He looks at me and tells me he doubts it but okay. ?!?!?!! So I then turn and look at him and say I'm going to take my jacket off and was that okay. He said that's fine. I get on the table, he locks my head in the machine and I can't move it at all, and he's twisting ear buds and asks me if I feel relaxed and comfortable. I said that NO I did not. He looks at me and says, well, what do you want. I just looked at him and said the IV sedation I paid for. During this time there are a lot of huffs and puffs as if I was taking up his time. He tells me to hold on. He comes back with what I'm assuming is a portal, but I cannot see. Then this Dr comes over and bends to see my face and tells me he can only give me a little bit because I took my morning meds at 6:30am. It was 4:30pm. He "gives" me, what they advertise as Versed. He then says how do you feel? I tell him exactly the same. He says we'll just try this. I stop them and say NO. I do not feel comfortable at all. He says I'll give you a little more. Then they shove me in the machine and tell me not to move. When I tell you it is absolutely barbaric to keep someone in pain when you don't have to, it's archaic. I'll tell you now, I did NOT receive IV sedation. I worked in dentistry for 22years. I worked with COUNTLESS IV sedation patients in that time. There's monitors and all sorts of machinery and supervision. There was none. The fact this facility claims it does IV sedation, is false. IV sedation does not consist of a Valium and a benedryl. I'm waiting on a resolution. We will see. read more

I highly recommend Basha for an MRI. The staff is courteous and professional. The facility is clean and modern. Parking is easy - not like going to some of the larger hospitals where you walk for ten minutes to get to the Radiology department! I was able to get in the same day I called (not sure that is typical, but impressive)! I waited less than ten minutes for my appointment to start. My belongings were left in a locked room and I had the key - no worrying about theft - but this is a small place so I don't think that's even a concern. My MRI was performed on Monday with results to be faxed to my doctor within 48 hours! I was also given a CD for the imaging itself. They will give you the cost of the MRI when you schedule your appointment (my no-contrast knee was $350 w/o insurance)! I think that's a great price. read more

I had an MRI done in the Dearborn location this morning (May 17,2024. The tech was less than friendly with no people skills whatsoever. He explained nothing about what I could expect during the procedure. He handed me one ear plug prior to beginning washout speaking a word. Not having experienced this procedure before, I was left to wonder why I needed the ear protection but it became obvious when the procedure began. When finished, I asked about the purpose of the various auditable sounds and he replied it was to take pictures. This tech is the wrong person to be dealing with people. read more

Dr Basha seems like a very nice physician and his business seems ok. However the radiography tech at this location is rude, a liar, and unprofessional. I realise people have bad days but common. If you can't be professional with a patient you are in the wrong line of work. The front office staff appear to be intimidated by the radiography tech's demeanour and attitude. Dr Basha really needs to take a look at what is going on at this office and make some necessary adjustments to better fall in line with his business and professionalism. read more

After almost a week of dealing with red tape bullshit for my kids injury, Basha was a breath of fresh air let me tell you. Am I happy about having to shell out $250 to get my kid an MRI? Not really but, being able to actually get something accomplished in the Obamacare era feels very satisfying. The one thing I can tell you about Basha is to disregard these other reviews - and here is why I say that. If you read these other two reviews they seem to be more about the situation these folks found themselves in rather than Basha itself and the service they provide. Basha provides a very specific service. They aren't your doctor, they aren't your insurance company, they aren't your mommy and as such to beat on them for stuff that isn't their problem isn't fair. We were extremely happy not only with the facilities they have at their Dearborn location but also the ability to get us in quickly as well as their customer service. We showed up there just after 1 for a 1:30 appointment and after some forms we were actually taken back at 1:15 which was unexpected and awesome. By 1:40 we were out of there and on our way home with a disc in hand and her results already on the way to the radiologist. Without somewhere like Basha our experience would of went like this. Wait for insurance to approve the MRI (2-3 days), once approved make MRI appointment (2-14 days), get the MRI and schedule MRI follow up appointment (2-14 days). So, by being able to come here and pay a reasonable price we literally cut at least 2 weeks out of this whole process. And when you are talking about an injured child who is an athlete, that time saved makes a huge difference let me tell you. I would come here again and pay out of pocket if we ever needed to without hesitation. read more

I went to Basha Diagnostics because I could not get an MRI done soon enough at the clinic I typically go to. First, I had called ahead of time to schedule all three MRIs that I needed to complete. I read exactly what the doctor ordered, so I figured I was good to go. When I arrived, they had only schedule 2 of the 3 MRIs that I needed. Luckily, they were able to fit me in. I proceeded to wait over an hour for my appointment, which was scheduled for 7:30pm, which I find completely unacceptable. Luckily, they were able to complete all three of my scans in the one appointment, but they did not tell me this was happening (and for anyone that has gotten an MRI before, sitting in the tube for 2+ hours without knowing it's happening is PAINFUL). Do not intend on going back - the only plus side is that it was much cheaper than if I had gone to my regular clinic. read more

I have gone to Basha Diagnostics for 3 MRI over the past 6 years . Each one of them were completed in a timely matter and very professionally done. My main reason I go to Basha is their open MRI, since I am extremely claustrophobic . I am giving this review this mainly because of the extra special care I received for Dr. Basha himself. You see I was in so much neck pain that it was hopeless to get the MRI done , Dr Basha worked side by side with me and his staff to figure out how to make me comfortable enough to succeed. And when the test was complete he was right there waiting to give me praise for hanging in to get in done. I'm from Canada and I needed a MRI on my back ASAP according to my doctor. The wait here was 2 tp 6 weeks so I searched around for a good accredited place to get one. After dealing with several clnics on the phone Basha was the fastest and the cheapest. They gave me an appointment for less than 24 hours. They have a good facility, easy to find with parking and handicap accessible. They were a bit late, maybe 30 minutes, but explained it to us and I understand when you deal with machines and with people at the end of the day it is not unusual in any business to run behind schedule. I had a cough and they dealt with that by offering a light sedation, pill, under doctor supervision to help me through the procedure. I accepted and it worked completely. At no extra charge. A big relief. The staff were great and the test was done as promised. We were very pleased and would definite use the clinic again if we need it. In Canada there is s lot more red tape and extra unnecessary office procedure around an MRI. All of my doctors staff were amazed at the low price. read more

I had a MRI of the brain in June 2020. Basha was fast and friendly. I was in and out in less than a half hour. About the most hassle free MRI I've had and I've had several due to 3 auto accidents. If I even need more MRIs, Basha is the place to go. read more

I needed an MRI on my knee and Basha was running a radio add boasting of a $250.00 cash MRI special. Went to Basha, got my MRI and although I thought the office was a little dank and dingy told myself that cutting corners in cleanliness was the price one paid to go cheap. to my surprise, I received a statement from BCBS stating they paid Basha over $900.00 along with the $267.00 Basha charged me. I refused to pay so they sent it to collections. Don't go what you believe to be a deal, don't go to Basha. read more

I don't know why i came back here and brought my poor sister this time. This place is VERY UNORGANIZED AND UNPROFESSIONAL. ESPECIALLY THE MORON they have working the front desk. She is the WORST person to be dealing with patients, she's very rude and obviously uneducated. I went in to get a MRI of the lumbar with contrast. I have no insurance so I had to pay cash. When I got there I was told that they could not run my credit card tonight but they would write down my information and someone would run it first thing in the morning. Of course that didnt sit well with me especially when there is a guy who look like he been working on cars all day is just sitting behind the counter staring. So I sent someone to get cash. Prior to my appointment I was told it was a open MRI, I made sure to ask that because I am extremely claustrophobic. Once in the back I noticed it was not a open MRI, but I was there already so I just went through with it. After about 25 minutes or so they pulled me out to give me the contrast. She poked me in one arm (my good vein) and could not inject the contrast and whatever she did caused the vein to harden. Then she poked me in my other arm and couldnt inject it there either. So she goes back to my right arm and tries again, this time I felt like a painful muscle cramp in my bicep and she still couldn't inject the contrast. So she tells me that they will send the films that they have and if the doctor needs the contrast I will have to come back. I asked her how would that work money wise, she said I shouldn't have to pay cause it wasn't my fault. So they charged me 350.00 dollars for MRI without contrast instead of 450.00 dollars for MRI with contrast. I left and I called back to verify that information, the receptionist puts me on hold and calls the doctor (Dr. Basha). She comes back and says that my doctor shouldn't need the films with contrast but if she does need the MRI with contrast I would have to pay an additional 200.00 dollars, and she went on to say they understand that it wasn't my fault, I told them that is not fair that I would have to pay more for something that wasnt my fault. I am very upset about this whole situation and will not ever have a procedure done here again. read more

I have been to this Basha Diagnostics twice over the past year. My first experience was excellent - short wait to get into my appointment, friendly staff that walked me through the entire experience. My second experience was as ok - I only had to wait about 20 mins for my appointment and the technician seem to hate her job. She did answer all my questions and did talk to me through the speaker to update me on what was going on, I appreciated that, but she just wasn't real friendly seemed irritated that she had to deal with me at all. The cost is reasonable since I had to pay out of pocket because my deductible wasn't met yet. They were willing to take payments, but of course like any business you have to follow through with your end of the deal and I did. No issues. Overall if not for the cranky technician on my second MRI visit I would have given this place a 5 star rating, could have been just a bad day? read more

These are good moral people. Two years ago when I started having seizures after a car accident I needed an MRI to figure out what was going on. I had no insurance at that time so they charged me hundreds less for the procedure than anyone else. I asked them why they were so good about it, and they said that it is because they don't want people to go without necessary procedures that can save their lives. This is rare in the medical field, or really, in any field at all. I fully recommend them to all of my family and friends. read more

I was there on time,I was taken right in, everything went great! I had a CT scan and was amazed at the amount of information that was reported. I intend to follow up on potential health issues I'm not sure if I need to be concerned about, but happy more than enough information was reported from the viewing of my scan. read more
