With not much to do this winter because of covid, this still feels safe because they limit the number of people. They charge $8 per person for drop in play. We usually do have to set up our own nets and put down tape to mark off the courts,that would be one of the glitches I'm talking about but as a pickleball addict I am willing to do it along with the others.

There's 4 pickle ball (only) courts and there's usually a tournament going on during the nicer weekends. There's some serious games going on today and it's busy. I don't see any picklers playing with their masks on, probably not helping our daily counts much. There are spectators out in their folding chairs too. There's a decent playground for the kids. Some areas with trees, but not so dense, more open field areas, but not loving the picklers parking in the open field much.

Matt, the guy who oversees it, is apathetic and argumentative when errors or inconsistencies are broached. Save yourself the time and aggravation and rent a court somewhere else with friends. The gym had dirty floors that are slippery and there is a massive wall of windows which create glare and make it easy to lose sight of the ball coming toward you. Also, there is a curtain which divides the courts and is too close to the baseline and impedes some plays.

Even though pickleball Is the fastest growing sport, for some reason PT doesn't like it. They raised their prices from last year to this year, and deliver awful customer service. Membership for PB up 50%, open play up over 50% and it's not like they have the courts waiting for You! All the usuals get there and spend the first 10 min of a shortened timeframe dragging the nets and setting it up. They don't provide balls like they do for tennis! Nope they just grab your money and treat all the pickle ballers like they are not as good as their tennis elitist. Don't get me wrong there are a couple people that work there that are super nice, but more often than not you run in to the ones That seem to either hate their job or hate us!! ‍ UWM doesn't have the outdoor floors or even great customer service at the sportsplex but at least provide balls. Have everything set up and pretend to Like you. Worth the drive in my opinion. Peachtree could use a customer service coach on staff. Don't even get me started on renting a court from them. They would rather it be empty than pickleball be played on it most days. A smile and making your customers feel welcome goes a long way!!

Courts are very good shape and you have a lot of room to yourself as well. They also offer drop in group lessons or private lessons for a reasonable price if you so choose. Price of a membership isn't all that bad either but you need it if you plan on joining leagues or using the ball machine there. Hours are also pretty good as well and they offer court times for whatever someone's schedule might be.

This is definitely a place you want to go with a group of people and grab some drinks. Even if you don't want to play paddleball you can easily just sit at the bar or lounge around watching a sporting event. We didn't get food on this particular occasion because we weren't hungry so the verdict is out on how good the menu items are, but I will say the prices are high.
